You open up the door into a little building that advertises itself as knowing the best places to go looking for the elusive Kobalos!

You are greeted by a kid who grins up at you wildly and talks to you excitedly. “Hi there! I’m Alex! I can help point you in the direction of the best places to go to find a Kobalos and show you how to get one to trust you so that it can be your friend and I can help you pack!” The kid appears to be literally vibrating with excitement.

You thank the kid and leave, but not before being growled at by a partiuclalry large Kobalos with reddish fur and a white underbelly. You can hear the kid calling out a “Stop that!” and decided to continue on your way.

You've finished packing your things and its time to go spelunking! You travel quickly to the cave opening, nodding your head to passerbys and smiling at children playing with their Kobalos. You smile at the sight of the cave opening. You have enough rations to last you a while in there... though even the most experienced still get lost from time to time. Why were you here again?

A. To Find Treasure, of course!
B. I wanna go Adventuring!
C. Seemed Like a Fun Idea at the Time.
D. I'm looking for my own Kobalos companion!

Your ability to be in two places at once must be the envy at all! You look up at the steps of the mountain with a fierce determination. What an adventure this will be! What a tale! Who knows what awaits you atop that mountain, perhaps great fortune? Or power? Why is it again you wanted to climb here?

First the Caves, then the Mountain, now the fields!?!? Are you sure you aren't a clone of some sort? Er.. anyways. Yes, the fields. Beautiful, no? Its easy to see why this would be the place people call paradise with its soft, rolling hills and gentle breezes. Are you sure you even really want to adventure through here? It could be just a good to just sit... and enjoy.

A. That actually sounds like a good idea...
B. Paradise for some, Playground for others. Forward!
C. Hah. You think I'm here to just sit? No, paradise means treasure, and is treasure is what I'm here for!

Companionship is worth its weight in gold, right?! Ah, could you imagine a Kobalos of your own? You begin to enter the caves, backpack slung across your shoulders bouncing slightly with each step. What a time you two would have together! Exploring together... maybe breeding them. Perhaps even training and competing with them as well! You walk in further and have to light a torch to find your way. Or maybe... you'd do none of that? What WOULD you do with a Kobalos of your own?

A. I Wanna Breed Gorgeous Pups!
B. Competing has always sound great to me!
C. Adventuring together? What could be better!
D. Er... Actually... I Would... {Insert Here}

Ah! After some of the remains of that castle perhaps? After the riches that the Titans simply must have surrounded themselves with? Of course you are! You begin your climb, a smirk of satisfaction beginning to grace your lips. Riches would be nice... some jewels to pawn... or perhaps to keep some for yourself and your future companions? Or maybe even some high value items to make it a bit easier the next time you come out for a wander. Whose to say, really, what you will find? As you ascend the steps you can't help but let your mind wander to what you want to find the most...

A. Jewels of course!
B. A bit of apparel never hurt anyone...
C. Breeding Items. Best way to make a living with a Kobalos, after all.
D. Anything and everything. What can I say, I'm an opportunist.

Elysian Fields [5/5]

Hah! Of course, treasure and fortune must be here somewhere! Wasn't this place half sculpted by the God of Wealth? ... Or maybe that was his wife? You aren't really to sure, but does it matter? Gold is gold. And gold makes the world go round. You begin walking into the field looking for... well. You're not sure really. There's a cliff in the distance, maybe that's a good place to start? Or... is that smoke up ahead? You walk on a while. Before you start to hear howling. Huh. Maybe you should pick a path while all the options are still available.

A. Cliff. Cliff good.
B. Where there's smoke there's fire...
C. Howling is good, right? Howling means Kolaboi!

Cave of Oracles [5/5]

Of course! Companionship is what we all want, especially in a place like this. You stop moving, realizing that, even with your torch, it is impossible to see more than a few feet ahead of you. You gulp nervously and take tentative steps forward, placing your free hand on the wall of the tunnel you've found yourself in to feel your way.

Eventually, you can feel the tunnel begin to dip down and... widen? No. Its beginning to split off! You glance around and take a tentative step forward... only to almost drop off a cliff face that, in the dark, is nigh impossible to see. You wonder briefly how anything could survive here long. You wave your torch around and decide that there are two options to be had here. Oh! What's that? Better make it three! You squint out across the chasm. It's hard to make out... but it looks like there's an outcrop that you could conceivably jump to, but you can't see past that.... To your right, the tunnel continues on, following the cliff and eventually sloping downward out of sight. Your third option, you guess, is to examine this place further.

A. I'd like to look before I leap! {Examine}
B. Yeah. Potentially Cliff Diving? Not For Me {Right}
C. Whats life without a little danger? Ima Do it! {High Risk, High Reward}

Opportunism... some may say it makes you a vulture, but you say it'll make you rich. And really, whose wrong? You notice that you have put quite a bit of distance between your starting point and where you are currently. You gaze up at the mountain ahead of you. You've got enough rations to last you a while... you hope. You've hear stories about how everything up here seems to want to kill you. Its almost as though, some nights, the mountain itself moves to push your camp off the edge. But those are just silly tales... right?

A. I mean... tales are embedded in a bit of truth...
B. HAH! Of course they're just tales! Probably told to keep kids away from here!
C. Yeah. Um. Hi. Not really worried about stories being true or not. THAT, looks like I should be concerned! {May be an assortment of things, only the number generator will tell!}

Elysian Fields [4/5] (FINDING IN PROGRESS)

Yeah! Howling's great! You jog off in that direction. You jog for some time, passing an outcrop of rocks that looks like you could fit under, a dead tree, a pond... just to name a few. This area in particular seems quite... not-barren for a field. You come to stand in the middle of all these things and look around. The howling has stopped now but you get the distinct feeling that you are being watched.

And being watched you are.... you notice movement from the corner of your eye. Something's circling you.

A. Turn quick! Can't have my back to it!
B. Turn slow... I don't wanna scare it, or me.
C. FORGET TURNING I'M LEAVING
D. Preform Unlisted Action {Insert Here}

Cave of the Oracles [4/5]

You set your mind to clearing the chasm. You take a few steps back, and begin to play your theme song through your head. This will be a moment for the ages! You begin your run towards the edge. 'What a story this will be!' You think to yourself, one foot out now. All you have to do, is not look down after all! Your foot hits the edge and you leap!

You sail through the air, gracefully and reach out towards the other side of the chasm. Unfortunately, it looks like you either misjudged your capability to make the leap or the distance you would have to. You miss the edge by a good half a foot and begin plummeting downward.

You hit the ground and the air from your ground is knocked out of your lungs and you lay there, stunned for a while. You examine yourself. Nothing to serious... but you should probably tend to yourself before you continue.

{Random Number Generator has Spoken, looks like you'll need to spend some resources tending to yourself. -1 to possible findings.}

Some time has passed and your pack is now considerably lighter than before. Maybe you should have looked before you lept? Hindsight is 20/20 you guess. So. What shall you do now?

A. Take a look around
B. That fall hurt, think I need to rest a bit longer...
C. Gotta find a way back up.

Mount Othrys [4/5] (FINDING IN PROGRESS)

Of course they're only tales! And why should you be afraid of a simple tale? You move forward, unperturbed by the sudden chill and growing wind. As you move... eventually the wind turns so violent it threatens to blow you off the mountain. You need to find some shelter, quick! You look around and see...

A. A Shallow cave
B. A Thicket

Or... You could try and keep going?

C. I won't be sidelined by the WIND of all things! Forward!



Elysian Fields [4/5] (FINDING IN PROGRESS)

You turn slowly and stiffen at the sight of It. It is definitely NOT a Kobalos. It is far to large... It begins stalking towards you as you move slowly to back away. It has three heads... its growls at you in a volume that you are sure is causing the very earth beneath your feet to shudder and groan.

You're going to need to react. And fast! It looks to you that the Thing is getting ready to pounce on you!
