Due to the lack of Golden bases in game, especially applicable natural ones I've decided to make a few suggestions. Keep in mind that this thread will most likely be expanded in future, but for now let's start our warm up (all examples are shown with Sunstone eyes and are clickable):

Golden Medium group

Wax/Candle/Honey/Beehive
Golden Medium Countershaded Uncommon
The very first Countershaded Uncommon, meant to be easily obtained and available through Base Changer from Oasis.

Lineless:


Foil/Goldenleaf
Golden Medium Countershaded Special
Meant as an event applicator, Foil should allow Mandarin breeders to have an easier time in achieving their goals. A counterpart to Bast, obtainable though another event (possibly September).

Lineless:


Aureate/Splendid
Golden Medium Solid Special
A rather simple and unassuming base, Aureate is another applicable Solid Medium. This base's purpose is to give this shade and gradient a natural-looking applicator, since Labradorite and Green are all non-standard looking goldens.
Aureate could be a craftable obtainable throughout the year and could utilize currently useless herbs.

Lineless:


Golden Light group

Daybreak/Pallid
Golden Light Countershaded Uncommon
Obtainable through Base Changer from Oasis, Daybreak is meant to serve the same purpose as Wax - to become the first Uncommon of it's shade and gradient.

Lineless:


Tarnished/Dim
Golden Light Solid Special
While Tarnished has some darker parts, I think this base could pass as a Light - and become the first applicable Light Special. Obtainable though May/November as a craftable or plain applicator(?).

Sallow/Sunlight
Golden Light Countershaded Special
Another Light Special that is available through applicator, this time a counterpart to Tarnished - Sallow is meant to provide a way to obtain Light Countershaded Special through other means than breeding. Ideally, Sallow would be a craftable obtainable throughout all the year.

Flare/Sol
Golden Light Countershaded Special
Third Light Countershaded Special, Flare could become the first Breed Only (Raffle) base of this shade and gradient. It may look a bit simple, however I'm certain that the unique pattern would make it easily recognizable and hopefully, desirable.

Golden Dark group

Fir/Pine
Golden Dark Countershaded Uncommon
Simply a Dark Countershaded available through Base Applicator, Fir serves exactly the same purpose as Wax and Daybreak.

Lineless:


Burnished/Cognac
Golden Dark Countershaded Rare
There was a very sound suggestion in the comments to make a breed-only Golden so that the group fails are a little less... bland, and here's my attempt to deliver just that. Burnished is meant as a third Golden Countershaded Rare, ready to accompany Fulvous and Dinar.

Golden Dark Solid Rare
Another breed only, this time in Dark Solid group - a rather flashy and unusual companion for Udara, Meranti is meant to make fails a little bit more desirable.

Maple/Syrup
Golden Dark Countershaded Special
A more saturated Dark Countershaded base, designed to assist Kimanjano breeders and accompany Anubis applicator. Ideally, this base should be available together with Foil, through the same means.
