I couldn't entirely fit what I wanted to say in the title but anyway: The Stockpile (and Event Chatter) Forum is absolutely overloaded with Gifting/Pooping threads. It's great that people want to help out others--I get that. But the forums is so unbelievably clogged that it's hard to find threads I'm actually looking for, IE threads selling Stinkbugs. I propose the following: A forums for event-specific threads like the gifting/pooping ones and moving them there, or moving the gifting/pooping threads to the forums games and/or giveaways forum. Gifting/Pooping threads aren't for selling or trading, and some even host giveaways, so it would make sense to me for them to either be moved to forum games, or to their own sub board that can be used for all events (including event questions). Thoughts? If you disagree please explain why, as maybe I'm missing a point to the stockpile forum. |

They have a way to search for specific threads so I think it's fine as is. The forums are always clogged during some of the events, just use the search feature  0 players like this post! Like? |

Turns out they're not supposed to be in the Stockpile anyway  Supposed to be in event chatter according to mods so I guess it's moot. And I try using the search feature, it can just be annoying looking for event currency as everyone seems to use different names. I just get frustrated by what seems like clutter it all. There's over 10+ pages of forum posts in Event Chatter just towards gifting and pooping. I really do think there should be a cap on them. There's several dozen of forum threads that really, really aren't needed. I don't understand why people made so many this year when we've already had quite a few from previous years! Edit: I just checked, and poop/gift threads go all the way back to the 16th page in Event Chatter. Clogged isn't even the word I'd describe it as. 0 players like this post! I'm so tired of seeing dozens and dozens of the same thread whenever I try to look for anything else in event chatter; to me it seems that anyone who creates a new one is just looking to get more bundles come the 25th since there's already so many popular and serviceable threads to post on. If we could just yeet all those threads to their own subforum (and especially have the option to 'hide' threads from that subforum in the recent activity/topics sections in chatter) would be amazing. 0 players like this post! Full support. I just looked in Event Chatter and I had to go all the way to page 6 to see something that isn't a gift/poop thread, and even then, it was just one thread. 0 players like this post! Like? |
