What gameplay feature is this bug affecting?

What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
I clicked on the advent calendar for today's award and the "you received a canary island pine" message popped up without me clicking on today's box. I thought that was weird because that didn't happen on my side account (which is a day behind, because i forgot, so I picked yesterday's award there). So I clicked off the page without touching the box to see if the image changed on the calendar and it did.

I went to my hoard and I saw there were two canary island pines. I thought at first it might just be the most recent one and the one from the last time this advent calendar circulated because I didn't have one buried like I do with, for example, the albino porcupine decor.

But when I hovered over the id numbers of the canary island pines they seemed much closer together compared to the two porcupines: the item id of the canary pines are: 1356286131752 and 1356386886821 whereas the albino porcupines for comparison are 1356385104170 (most recent) and 1040908060484 (old)

So in conclusion ??????????? but it really seams like something funky happened here.

I clicked on the advent calendar and it automatically generated the item message instead of me having to click on the box to get it. Despite not clicking on the box and exiting the advent because that was weird, in my hoard i had two Canary Island Pines with very close item id numbers.
