I realize there's already a base suggestion using this name, but we only saw it after we finished ours. We really think the name matches the base and maraschino cherries completely inspired it sooooo, oh well, we keepin' it.  w/out background:  shown w/ ESR:  lineless:  Maraschino v.2 - less saturated:   Also, please keep in mind that although you may not like the bright red, other people do! We already made sure it wasn't as bright as actual maraschino cherries, and I believe making it any less saturated will really tear the initial inspiration from the base. (we used sunset eyes for the lined pics!) There isn't a bright red base like this in-game right now, so I think Maraschino would be a good addition. We're thinking a Red Medium Solid Special?? I also think it would be nicely suited as a Breed-Only base. This is our first base and we'd love to know how we did, so please give us feedback! |

v2 is much, much better honestly. Even the slight desaturation that you did do makes it a lot easier on the eyes, and I think it would easily translate better into marks as well. I also like the stronger whites on it. Helps balance everything out some more. I enjoy the base a lot and I wanted to see it a little less eye bleedy. aww <3 ty. fun fact, when emma(monodoe) was adding the white into it she wasn't really thinking about the inspo, and just added white because she thought it would look nice. after looking over it i pointed out how the white looks like the glossiness on actual maraschino cherries. it was the perfect addition. 0 players like this post! I wont be supporting because I fell as tho its TOO bright. I personally cant see this base on any looks that I personally would like, yeah you dont want to tone it down too much due to the theme but it's a bit over the top for my liking. this looks dope and not even that bright. pulsar, green and xanthic (which are all much worse) exist and everyones learned to deal with them lol and if the base were added then people could just...not apply the base or breed lions with it. i personally dont see the big deal but aint gonna start an argument abt it. total support, love this base 0 players like this post!
