I'd like to see an item, like for oasis. It would allow you to roll all the markings of your king onto a new base without starting over.

I have an ebony base, and I gave him many markings that I love but if I roll to say a leonid base, I would lose all my markings. I just think there should be an item to let us move the markings.

You could make it 15gb and it would be worth it to keep them all.

There is a huge gap in the value of lions with rosettes depending on the base. If you take a look at a regular lion with a rosette, say a common base such as Mauve, you'll hardly get 500 sb selling it. However you can see combo and BO bases with rosettes floating around TC occasionally. For example, the Lilac with EHR in TC is priced at an autobuy of 300 gb. Orchids and Souls with rosettes have gone for a similar amount. This suggestion would ruin that, because you could king the Mauve MR, take the item and 'swap bases' to make your lion a Lilac with MR for only 15 gb.

When you put it that way, I can better understand where youre coming from and I agree, it would ruin the market for breed-only markings. It would also ruin the market and would be defeating the purpose of most customization items, any kind of marking/base applicator, the rarity value of all bases (common --> special/breed-only), and so on.

This suggestion is taking markings and essentially copy and pasting them onto another lion. So say you have an Orchid, where rosettes are more scarce to find rosettes on because people have worked HARD to gnawrock and breed specifics onto them.

Using a 15gb item to simply throw your triple rosette markings onto a markingless orchid blows rosettes on breed only bases out of the water.
The lion could sell for 100+ GB, and with this item, they'll crash HARD.
All people's breeding effort? Gone.

Same can apply to regular, tier 2 markings. 'Copy pasting' a bunch of breed only markings from a common based cub onto, say, a Pearl for 15gb using an item.
Where's the breeding in that?

Look, Im not supporting this idea because it would essentially be a cheat item which would diminish the value system of multiple items, bases, and MARKINGS (of all kinds), all the while, the hard work the staff of Lioden has put into the game. I misinterpreted what other users were meaning when they mentioned markings, obviously.

Im sure we can all agree the idea has most likely reached the end of the line for itself.

That’s what base applicators are for not breed only.
Surely it’s enough that we can actually pass down our kings looks as it is?

No support because OP doesn’t understand LD market.

I feel like this idea would only work if it was like a random base applicator that worked like the random marking apps. And then there would only be astronomically small chances of getting anything more than a common or uncommon base.
