In the world we live in, every person's born with a soulmate. Some only have one; if they die, they don't get another. In some very rare cases, you're born with two soulmates. If you're born with one soulmate and that one dies somehow, there's a very small, very rare chance you'll have another. How do you know if you have a soulmate? You'll be born with a special marking on the back of your hand in the shape of a star, moon, sun, spade, heart, diamond, or a skull. The color is usually your favorite color, and if your soulmate has the same color mark it stays the same, but if your soulmate has a different favorite color, both your marks will change to a color that's a mix between the two colors; and there's normally a few ways to find your soulmate.

One: You can sense their presence nearby, and you'll be able to see their aura if you're in the same room.

Two: A red string will appear, and you can either choose to follow it, or wait for your soulmate to come and find you.

Three: When you make eye contact, there'll be a sort of spark, like your mind feels like it's exploding.

Four: Physical contact. It's similar to making eye contact, except the spark feels stronger than the one felt by eye contact.

Five: Now this one is a pretty rare way to find them; their scent. If you have this to find your soulmate, they'll smell like your favorite scent (example: pine needles and syrup). The scent is usually a trail leading to your soulmate, and once you find them you just know it's them.

There's a school called Ravengale High, where students between the ages of 16 and 22 go to help in their search for their soulmates. Will you be one of the lucky few who finds their soulmate, or will you be the one who most likely never will? Whether or not you find them is your choice, and whether you want to stay with them is up to you.
