well, to keep things simple and for lack of better words, i'm still trying to figure everything out. i have no idea what i'm doing to be totally honest, like i know the basics of well, exploration and prides but yk, still haven't grasped the idea of anything yet really

apologies for the late response, laptop updated. anyway. i honestly just want to figure out the basics of prides if that makes sense, and why some bases are worth more than others. or what the hell gens are, generations, i assume?

I understand that! And plus I'm basically a stranger to you and I understand that!

So if you go to your lion and scroll down just a little bit you'll see a "View Full Heritage" and some have a long heritage and some don't have one but for the one that do have a heritage if you count them backwards, and they're great grandpa is the earliest one that's there without saying "unknown" then it would be a gen 3

Some people don't care about the gens and stuff but a lot do but kinda! If you get a newly claimed lioness they are quite common but some have marking a lot of people like and can sell for more it all just depends! But some with long heritages have inbreeding and people call it a "dirty lion" and it kinda make the value go down but not much it all just depends on the person

that makes sense. i personally just like pretty lionesses lol, regardless of stats. plus, i'm broke almost constantly so finding something with like, 2k stats is impossible for my budget. i'm also assuming the longer the heritage is, the dirtier the lion probably is. (and dont worry! its fine, i totally understand either way)

I really like pretty lions I used to get them all the time and stuff I still do just not at often! I have had some lions with a really long heritage but they were still cleaning but there is a chance! Stats aren't a big deal really some people with spend hundreds of gb to find 10k stat lions but I ended up buying a lion with 1k stats for just a golden Beatle witch is still a lot but I was hoping she'd give me a cub with higher stats but she hasn't yet so I don't think it's worth it so don't worry about that yet! If you want to get your main lion higher stats I'd just say level him up! My lion right now I have a log of when he gets more stats and if anything happened! He got kinged when he had 30 stats now he has 107 stats just by me basically leveling him up!
