Few people are excited to get Wallow Pit junk for Christmas. What if we made it worthwhile to gift one another some Wallow Pit junk? My skills aren't the best, but I've done what I can to try and make a couple bases to start with. The goal is to make some unique bases that can provide fun crafting for those who wallow and those who get those items as gifts. These bases would be applicators obtained by crafting the following items. Reef: Black Light Countershaded Seaside colours and white sand, with faint coral speckle texturing. x30 Old Sandals x20 White Lion Pelts x20 Kingfisher Feathers x20 Flamingo Feathers Garland: Black Dark Countershaded Deep, lush evergreen, with festive glittering variations. x30 Bottles x20 Aardwolf Tails x20 Rotting Logs x20 Shiny Green Rocks Adobe: Red Medium Solid Fired adobe clay, with gritty texture variation. x30 Muddy Feathers x20 Underbrush x20 Nightjar Feathers x20 Pet Rocks If anyone else would like to re-do these, or make bases for the following Wallow Pit items, I'd be happy to add them to this with credit, otherwise I will try to get around to it. Muddy Rat Carcass: Some sort of rat pelt reminiscent coat. Muddy Skull: Lacy and reminiscent of "Mari Lwyd" |

I like the garland one a lot too, but I think the crafting price is too cheap, they should be more expensive in material to craft, but the two bases you made look really good :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thank you both. I'll definitely bump the prices up. Does fifty sound fair? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Mk! Could you put it on here, I can't make pictures of the bases though, so I'll describe it the best I can, tell me if it's like a base already made though! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thank you! I'm glad you like them. I'll be seeing if I can add a little more to garland and adobe eventually, and tackling the other two in time. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I really like adobe but the others are a bit vibrant/strong for a "junk" craftable applicator, even though they're gorgeous looking, but that's just my opinion. i really like them, and having something worthwhile to do with pit junk would be awesome 0 players like this post! Like? |

I appreciate the input, and I'm glad someone mentioned liking Adobe. I was worried it'd be a miss. The idea isn't to have them craft into things that also look like junk. That'd sorta defeat the point of turning the wallow pit trash into something nice. I chose Reef because of the sandals - something oft worn to beaches, a place some people go in the winter to get away from the cold when traveling during the winter. I chose the glittering green because broken glass glitters. Garland is just a seasonally appropriate name. Noticed we weren't really getting any greens that matched the holidays, so since we got Blue Poinsettia, figured it could be nice. Adobe was only chosen because that was the closest clay ('mud') I could think of to the tone. 0 players like this post! Like? |
