Few people are excited to get Wallow Pit junk for Christmas. What if we made it worthwhile to gift one another some Wallow Pit junk? My skills aren't the best, but I've done what I can to try and make a couple bases to start with. The goal is to make some unique bases that can provide fun crafting for those who wallow and those who get those items as gifts. These bases would be applicators obtained by crafting the following items. Reef: Black Light Countershaded Seaside colours and white sand, with faint coral speckle texturing. x30 Old Sandals x20 White Lion Pelts x20 Kingfisher Feathers x20 Flamingo Feathers Garland: Black Dark Countershaded Deep, lush evergreen, with festive glittering variations. x30 Bottles x20 Aardwolf Tails x20 Rotting Logs x20 Shiny Green Rocks Adobe: Red Medium Solid Fired adobe clay, with gritty texture variation. x30 Muddy Feathers x20 Underbrush x20 Nightjar Feathers x20 Pet Rocks If anyone else would like to re-do these, or make bases for the following Wallow Pit items, I'd be happy to add them to this with credit, otherwise I will try to get around to it. Muddy Rat Carcass: Some sort of rat pelt reminiscent coat. Muddy Skull: Lacy and reminiscent of "Mari Lwyd" |

With that in mind, maybe something to complicate the recipes (scent of protea, scent of hibiscus sort of level? Where it takes 'junk' items and makes it more difficult to obtain to balance the vibrant and glittery look ?) might make them fit better with the challenge level of other crafting apps. Like, shiny green stones for garland, or a small number of shiny teal and red shiny rocks/kingfisher feathers for reef - correlating other supporting items to the colour of the base? I understand this may not be a popular suggestion, but I mean this as a compliment, they're too pretty to be so easy to make 0 players like this post! Like? |

I do like that idea too. I'll try to sit down tomorrow and go through what items aren't used in the crafting recipes and see what would be good. My big thing is avoiding using things already used in a ton of recipes (herbs mostly, herbs are used in so much) i think its a good suggestion to add more. if you have any ideas for rarely-used craftables that'd be good, lemme know. otherwise i will pick me brain when im rested. thank you so much for the extensive input ♥ 0 players like this post! As far as I know, rock and rotting log are both virtually useless, and are December items, underbrush is useful but hasn't been put in an applicator that I know of, same with large leaves. None of the shiny rock options except for red are good for much except as supports in decors but they are good decor fillers, so that's 50/50. Kingfisher feather matches the colours in reef and only has 4-5 decors that I'm aware of, and albino feathers are a great all-round December item to throw in, same with white lion pelts which are really only used for nesting. Muddy skull and muddy rat carcass could be worked into the adobe recipe as additional items if you don't have an existing idea for them? I definitely agree, herbs are over-used, and spread across too many different things (event, beetles, and decor and apps is just a little much imo). And happy to help, they're too pretty to not be made 0 players like this post! Like? |

TYSM for the feedback! Seems Garland is way more popular than I was anticipating. Considering eventually making a base called Tinsel that's a metallic red and bashing them together into a combo base you can get out of wallow pit junk. Maybe Peppermint. Red and white with thin highlights of green, blended together. 0 players like this post! Like? |
