It is important to leave the onus of censoring sensitive images to the end user's discretion, through their browser or device settings. This is because different users have different sensitivity thresholds and requirements, making it impossible for Lioden to accurately cater to all preferences.

I could argue that the mating images should remain in Lioden. These images depict natural animal behaviours. Furthermore, it's important to note that Lioden is already rated 16+. This suggests that players should have the maturity and cognitive ability to understand and process the content present in the game, including the mating images. And if you don't, you have the choice not to explore altogether. Personally, I click explore encounters so fast that the image hasn't loaded in the first place, because guess what? You can do your own research before grinding. Seeing those images is NOT necessary for your February heart shell grind, and it's just a matter of choosing the right buttons.

I personally believe a toggle is the bare minimum. All of those encounters indirectly encourages NSFW contents of feral animals, which is INSANELY harmful in nature and I shouldn't have to explain why. The encounters are honestly disgusting, even if they're just pixels on a screen. These are animals we're talking about.

I disagree, Rosia. 100% of documentaries, while focused on nature in general, have at least 2-5 minutes dedicated to animals "doing it", and nobody complains about it. Some documentaries are even more graphic than Lioden depictions of animals "doing it", Ive personally seen WAY more disturbing stuff on documentaries labeled "12+". Dont even get me started on that North America documentary with literally bison porn show in it. Compared to some documentaries, Lioden is perfectly child-friendly.

See, that's a different thing. It's educational, it's a documentary, it's nature. But in the case of a SIM game, where the developers and artists intentionally go out of their way to include feral animals in NSFW situations, that's where I have a problem.

Agreeing with Mad Hyena. I believe I may have yet to see a nature documentary that doesn't include the animals doing it. Its not like they're bein fetishized on here or anything. The encounters are made more humorous here, but if a nature documentary that can be shown to children as young as 6 or even younger can deem animal mating scenes to be perfectly appropriate for the audience, it would be quite odd for a site rated 16+ to find it highly inappropriate for its audience. Especially since the population on here at least processes it as the natural process of life.

I don't know buddy. There's literally an encounter where you help a dwarf lion mate with a lioness. This isn't just a matter of a natural, educational documentary, this is a SIM game that puts feral lions in NSFW situations. The reason it's harmful is that it feeds people that intent to hurt animal in real life. It's horrible, but that's the reality. It's a massive problem in the xenofiction community, and I'm sure you know that. That's why it's a problem.

I can see how you can categorize them as disgusting, but they are neither fetishized nor graphic, nor are they written in such a way to promote the fetishization of true animals.
