The new explore NPC, Ghaurvan, does not count as a Lion for Quests upon defeating, despite very much being a Lion.

I encountered Ghaurvan in explore, and chose the "Let's See your Moves!" option. I fought and defeated him, and upon checking my counter on the Event page (for Vashkartzen) it was still at 7/10, which it had been beforehand.
