Deja watched Ribbon as she gracefully danced her way around the lake, Being a dancer Themself, They were happy to have found someone else who enjoys the arts as much as Them! The metal of their harness rattled and clanged togeather as they joined her in the graceful dance. The feathers of their wings fluttering and flowing along side their special veil made to trail behind them to aid the beauty and show of their dance. After a bit of furious paw work, Deja bowed to Ribbon, Spreading out their brightly colored wings in hope of catching her full attention. "My My, I have never seen such a gracefully coordinated dancer such as yourself! My name is Deja Vu, Lord of the hermaphrodite pride! I would love it if you'd come to join me with the rest of my lioness" Deja held out their paw to ribbon in hopes for acceptance of their proposal!

@Rila - Ribbon giggles. covering her face with her paw, "You may!" she chirps, smiling. Enjoying her time with the king.

@Vineheart - Icecream laughs, gesturing to Drizzles dramatic display, "a break would be nice, I'll keep it in mind." she says, smiling at Crimson Sky, Adventurer, on the other hand, sends him her own smirk. She seems to consider, then sends him a wink before trotting off again.

@Wren - Dusk seems overjoyed to join his pride, and Genesis has a large (somewhat intimidating, with those fangs n all.) smile, as she runs up to wish him goodbye. He butts heads with her before sending her away with a soft "Be good! Live well!"

@Stream - It takes a couple nudges from Genesis for Drizzle to answer, she's shocked, ears and face red. Unlike the other she's anything but subtle, she squeaks out a reply, looking to and from her current king to Duskthrone. "I can't pick for you." The ferus hums, and Drizzle rolls her eyes.
"I know that but!" She pauses, flustering, "I just- um- oh Apedemak, I accept!" Drizzle sputters, shooting up, excitedly tapping her paws.

@Starsight - Speaker pauses her ramblings, "Really?" She seems shocked, having seen so many lioness go before her... "I'd be honored!"

@Dino - Adventurer watched as the queen stuttered, her smile increasingly growing. She seemed genuinely entranced by the queen, having full stopped on her walk away from the waterhole. She laughs, nodding and humming a soft "I guess I could go, as long as you're there."

@Antiraven - Genesis greets Kiran like an old friend, clearly comfortable with him. "Of course not!" Genesis replies,, standing up to stretch and greet them all. He approaches Tough Guy, lowering his head and allowing the other to gently bump into it. "It's nice to see you again." He muttered softly, the two had grown up together, and had both been options when the previous king was picking his heir, so it was nice for Genesis to see him again. He greeted the others with just as much warmth, smiling, before stepping away to allow them to greet the new lionesses'. As the two are getting ready to leave, Gentle rushes up to them, having left the cubs with Whiteout.

"Oh- um, king Kiran!" She urges softly, "Your offer, to join your pride? May I?" She pauses, taking a moment to gather her thoughts: "You're the first one to offer me any help, you we're kind to my pridemates, and I've lived with Tough Guy, he's not easy to handle- But you do! I would love to come with you." She chirps, looks like she found a home! (I literally adore how much effort you put into yours! Getting to read about Tough Guy again made my day <3)

@ოიxႮჁiმ - Fruit looks up, her face slowly developing a red tint in her embarrassment. "Well- of course." She chirps, "Who wouldn't want to be clean? The amount of lions covered in mud and gunk, bleh." She giggles, seemingly enjoying the kings presence. Eventually she asks if his pride has any space, a sparkle in her eyes.

@UntitledGoose - Ribbon clearly seems to be enjoying the addition of a second dancer, weaving her way between them and the waters edge, she lets out a giggle as they spread out their wings, clearly having caught her attention. "Pleasure to meet you, my lord." She coos, then gently placed her paw in theirs. "Your words are as graceful as yourself it seems, I'd be honored to join."

@soinajenkins - Drizzle sends him a soft glance, but doesn't seem interested, Genesis appreciates Golden's attempt however, and invites the king back to the water hole, maybe another girl would catch his eye!

Fruity noticed as he was walking to find some prey he saw Eyespy growling at a cub that approached her,even though he wasn't very interested in such things,he had to admit,she was quite beautiful even when she was grumpy,he trots over to her and nudged her shoulder in a greeting to distract her from the cub.

"Why hello there beautiful,couldn't help but notice you while I was out on a hunt,say are you looking for a pride?" He spoke kindly her mane fluffed out slightly.

"Anyways,let's hunt together,maybe take you away from pesky cubs" he laughed half-heartedly as he waits to see if she follows or not

Tau entered the pride and smiled at Genesis, she then looked around at all of the lionesses. The first one to catch her eye was Gemstone, who was currently counting cubs. "Cute" Tau muttered under her breath.
She walked over to Gemstone, she sat down and began counting cubs with her. "1, 2, 3, 4... wait- did I already count that one? Umm, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.. oh dear they keep moving" Tau sighed and looked up at Gemstone, "I don't know how you do it. I lost count at 5. I would love to have your expertise with counting cubs, or counting anything at all. Only of course if you'd be willing to join my pride? I think you'd make a wonderful addition to our family, and you could help keep the other lionesses organized!"
Tau smiled at Gemstone as she got up and walked to a tree. A few cubs followed her playing with her tail and her decorations. She stayed there a while playing with the cubs in the shade. As night fell she left off to go back to her own pride so her lionesses wouldn't worry.

Much time had passed since Kirran had visited the waterhole's edge which had become quite familiar to him in the last few moons. Of course, whenever he'd visit either a certain primal or lioness would company him to the edge seeking to help and catch up with any wanderers or cubs which would need their help. Today Tough Guy has yet again joined on the journey while Gentle stayed back in order to help the newest cubs which were born just yesterday. Since their last journey to the waterhole Tough guy has grown immensely in size and fluff (the same fluff which cubs love to nap in).

"Hello King Gensis, seems like you have some new wanderers." greeted Kiran to the large Ferus, "Guy came with me today but Gentle couldn't, she decided to help the newborns today." Smiled the King. "She sends her best wishes and hopes to visit next time!"

After chatting Kiran decided to wander amongst the wanderers greeting those on the way. Among the new faces stood out one familiar one, "Oh! we meet again White! I thought you'd found a new pride already?" A confused head tilt followed the question. Kiran could never forget the white lioness as her soft and light coat stood out from the sea of cubs which played over her. "Hey, no pride yet... none seemed to fit my needs just yet. How is Gentle doing?"
"She's having a blast looking after the new cubs and learning from the brood mothers. The little ones just love her and Tough guy, especially when they could nap in his mane." laughed Kiran. "I'll let her know you asked about her, I hope you find a new pride soon!" Before he could leave there was just two more wanderers who he wanted to chat to. Following the sound of playing cubs Kiran came face to the clearing which housed playing cubs and lionesses who lazed in the cool breeze and warm sun, suddenly there came a hiss from the clearing edge. "No! I don't want to play! j-just leave me alone you furball!" hissed a lioness as a cub jumped on her tail. Hoping to ease the tension Kiran rushed to push the cub away, "How about you go play with the other cubs huh?" Kiran suggested, "Aww but I wanted to play with the big kids!" cried the cub as it sulked away from the two, "Thanks I guess..." muttered the lioness, "It's no worries, I know how cubs can get a bit much at times." Smiled Kiran, "Oh! right, I'm King Kiran, I absolutely love your eyes." As Kiran spoke, he could tell the lioness was grumpy and wished for some peace which prompted his leave, "It was nice to meet you, I hope you find a nice pride!"

Entering the hoard Kiran could see two lionesses sharing a meal chatting happily among one another however, what caught his attention was the small and thin lioness who guarded her meal. Immediately the king was hit with worry and pity no one deserves to starve or suffer for food, sneakily Kiran decides to drag a nearby carcass over to the lioness. 'I'm sure Gensis wouldn't mind-' hoped the king, as he came close the lioness seemed to bare her claws and teeth thinking he was trying to steal another meal. "I'm not going to steal your meal don't worry, I just wanted to give you some more since you looked hungry," softly whispered Kiran. The lioness seemed to calm down a small amount still not trusting the king. After making sure the lioness had enough to eat the King leaves the hoard avoiding the confused gazes of the two lionesses.

Once their goodbyes were said Tough Guy and Kiran make the journey back home to their pride.

Duskthorne strolls over, Drizzle accompanying him (nestling into his fluffy mane to hide her flushed cheeks... and for his attention). As the handsome king moseys on over to Genesis, he lets out a soft purr of a greeting, sitting down next to him (making sure to leave a spot next to him for Drizzle). Drizzle happily obliges, plopping down and scooching in close, burrowing into his soft fur; she seems very content in doing so. Duskthorne looks down at her in amusement at her flustered attitude, but gives her ear a comforting lick before turning his gaze to Genesis.

"Hello friend, I hope you're doing well. Drizzle has settled in quite easily in my pride as the queen, everyone loves her and her sweet personality, no need to mention how revered she is for her beauty." He reports, gaze flicking fondly to his queen, his praise inducing a embarrassed squeak from her.

Then his gaze catches as it turns back to Genesis, lingering on a frail-looking lioness. Her fur is like the night sky, rose-colored eyes warily flicking around her, her posture suggesting unease and distrust. Duskthorne's features are arranged in interest and perhaps a bit of pity, pity that she doesn't trust her pride mates enough to know they won't snatch her meal, it wouldn't be like that if she were in his pride... Hmm. That's an idea, if he can get her to trust him, then maybe he can help her. She might feel safer in his pride, learn to have faith in others, caution is a useful trait to have but when taken too far it can make one miserable. He nudges Drizzle, whispering to her that he'll be right back before heaving himself up.

"I'll be back right away, I'd just like to look into something... hopefully it won't take too long." He tells Genesis, eyes fixated on the thin lioness.

He quickly makes his way over until a few feet or so away, making sure to slow down as not to startle her or provoke suspicion. When their eyes meet, he gives her a soft and warm smile, expressing to her his vulnerability.

"Hello there, -don't worry, I'm not here to steal your prey, please carry on with eating your meal- your name is Garden, right? That's a lovely name, I myself am called Duskthorne, it's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance. Would you care to come back with me to talk to Genesis? I have a few matters I'd love to discuss with you." His voice is sweet and gentle, as if talking to a cub.

He grins when Garden nods apprehensively, slowly getting up and taking her prey with her, eyes narrowed. It's a start.

Duskthorne walks beside her, leading her to where Drizzle and Genesis wait for him. As he settles onto the grass, Drizzle happily takes it upon herself to drape her body over his front paws, peering curiously at the newcomer before playfully bopping her mate's muzzle. Duskthorne laughs, nuzzling his queen's face before resting his chin on top of her head after she squirms her way into a more comfortable position on her stomach (under one of Duskthorne's paws and resting her own paws over his other front leg). Once settled, he refocuses his attention on Genesis and Garden, uttering an apology for the -adorable- distraction.

"So, since my attention is now re-centered, I'd like to discuss something. Garden, I would love for you to join my pride. I know you may not trust me quite yet and I don't blame you, you hardly know me, but I'll prove my pride and myself to be worthy of your faith, to prove our genuine care and devotion to its every member. You shouldn't have to be alone in isolation from others due to your wariness or chary nature, it must be terribly lonely to only have one's self, I can change that." He speaks from the heart, the compassion seeping from his words earning him a loving look from Drizzle.

Everything he said was true, though he looks to Genesis for confirmation on whether what he said was on track with how Garden really feels; he would be the most likely to know. His mate strokes his cheek reassuringly with her tail, providing some much needed comfort to Duskthorne in the painfully dragged on pause.

After showing Speaker to the pride, Nightshade heads back over to the clearing, where Eyespy was yowling at cubs. She pads over, debating how to deal with this. She could try asking kindly, or yowl with the same snarkiness as the other lioness.

"Hello." Nightshade says, interrupting Eyespy. "Redstar, my pride leader, is looking for lionesses to join his pride. He only wants the best lionesses, and he thinks you will be a great fit."

Nightshade waits for an answer, hoping she'd say yes.
