"Oh do you want to wash? Fay left a bunch of his stuff here when he left I'm sure you could put some use to it." Ied offer pointing to the back door, I never understood why humans didn't just pile themselves. Fay but what he called a shower and a bathroom but that was a few years ago at least I made sure to keep the water clean. I set the picture back up and sat down on my bed letting out a sigh, "And I think I might have some edibles here somewhere." He added.

"Fay?" I replied. I then remembered the photo and somewhat connected the dots. "It'd feel weird to use someone else's things.." I mumbled. I looked over to the back door, getting lost in thought.

"Oh.....he uh....he won't mind at all I'm sure he won't even know..." ied say in a sad tone, my head bowed as I remembered when he left. I stand and walk over to the kitchen grabbing out a box from the pantry, I opend it to find some edibles ied hand them to the human. "I'm number 7 what's your number?"

I stared at the edibles for a few seconds before grabbing one. "I don't have a number." I said, looking up at the robot. "Humans don't have numbers. They have names; well, most don't now.." He said the last part under his breath. I rubbed my head, still feeling a bit of pain.

"Names? Then what's yours?" I'd ask sitting back down on the bed. "I assumed only Fay had a name, sorry." He'd chuckle to himself, what is wrong with me? We used to talk for hours on end about humanity, but sense they left I started forgetting it all. What was I before this?

"That's a stupid assumption to make." I scoffed. I put the edible in my pocket for later. "My name doesn't matter for now, at least." I replied before yawning. I was unsure how to feel about the robot; something felt very different.

I nod, stupid of me to think that. I notice the humans unease and stand, "Well I'll have to tell the Higher Power why I brought back a dead human. Please excuse me." Ied bow to the human and leave the house, sighing as I got out of the situation I made my way to the top of the Higher Poweres tower.

I let out a sigh of relief as the robot headed out. I reached for the edible in my pocket and quickly ate it. I thought back to what the robot said about Fay leaving. I still had an uneasy feeling about the robot.

Arriving at the Higher Power they told me in, giving them the news in my most emotionless voice I could gave them pleasure. "You have succeeded us 7. How would you like to become a Higher Power?" One of them asked. I was taken aback for a moment not really sure what to say. "I'll have to think on it." Ied bow turning to leave.

I waited for the robot to come back, hoping that he didn't choose to turn him in. I agan thought of Fay and how he was most likely dead but I chose to not say anything.

I entered my house perplexed but calm, walking inside I locked the many locks on the door. "If you wanna go go ahead I won't stop you." He said as he passed the human. Now getting a good look at it he smiled, it reminded him of Fay. He sat down on the bed hesitant to to take his nightly shot. He then decided not to going to change the subject. "If you want you can also look in the kitchen I may have more edibles I'm not too sure."

"Why didn't you turn me in?" I whispered. I stood up and slowly made my way towards the robot. I paused to ask a question but decided against it, and went to the kitchen to find another edible to eat.

"You can read?" Ied say looking up surprisingly. Of corse he reads dumbass, I think to myself. "Sorry stupid question." He shook his head turning back to his book. "Bt the way I'm not all metal to technically I'm part pice of metal." I shrug off my vest showing a human arm.
