Hello! My idea is that conjoined lion cubs have a SLIM chance of living after being born and a few days after living. There was once a case of conjoined lions IN REAL LIFE, and they were adults! I feel like this would be a cool feature to the game, but the might only be able to be a broodmother if female, but unable to patrol if male. There could also be items that give conjoined lions a larger chance to live after a few days. This would be a cool and AMAZING feature to have in game.

This suggestion has 21 supports and 93 NO supports.

Other than "Cool" and "Amazing" what does this genuinely bring to the game?
Like, other than the thousands of hours more work for the art team that's already behind with a bajillion decors, new markings and more important projects like the Jaglion, Male Pose and the art for the site's recode?

I also cannot find any proof or studies on your "adult conjoined lions", so I'd be very interested to see that.

No support. As Fraekinn said, this does not benefit the game anyway nor would this be a quality of life change, making it a very redundant thing when more time could be spent on actual new content and quality of life updates.

Well, human conjoined twins survive. Very rarely though. But some survive during surgery to separate them... So.

In March, only in March, maybe there could be a human vet of some sort that helps out lions. You could give your conjoined twin cub to that vet to separate them, and the lineart would not be a normal lion one, well, it could be.. but there would probably be something like half a lion or smth lol- well as adults they would be mere trophy lions as they would not be able to hunt, patrol or be broodmothers.

Maybe the only way for the surgically separated twins to survive would be to give them a special item every day for the entirety of their cub and adolescent ages.

Having a chance to live or die would change a lot about the mutation, and raise some uncomfortable questions.

Can live conjoined twins breed?
-IMO, they shouldn't be able to, but that could be difficult because you can raise infertile lionesses fertility with the chaste berry

Can live conjoined twins be king?
-This would be like the leopon male fiasco all over again

Should other lethals be able to live?
-That would require a lot of art changes and then what would be the point of lethals?

Overall, I just don't see this going well... no support.

No support for reasons stated.

And I find a bit suspicious that you state there is recorded evidence of surviving conjoined lions, however you do not give a source like say a credible zoo, National Geographic or anything like that.

Any 'Top 10' animal thing on YouTube is fake as hell, especially those with clickbait thumbnails. I have called out numerous of these. If you were talking the Flickr image, my dude... that is photoshopped. Any image you find that say that they are surviving lions... totally fake. Sorry to burst your bubble, but your 'sources' are about as real as flying pigs.

Support, real life human conjoined twins have survived, maybe not lions, but why not let them have a chance, for the sake of realism?

The thing is -- these lions are like humans in the sense they have structured societies, and morals ( unless you're going for an evil king ). If we were to keep it up as civilized society, maybe the conjoined twins could survive??

Like, there is many examples of human conjoined twins surviving past childhood and into adulthood. A pair of conjoined twin lions could very well survive, albeit very rare ( which we haven't seen yet )

I could answer some questions:

- Can live conjoined twins breed?

I'd think it'd be the same thing as a DU if said lion is female.

- Can live conjoined twins be king?

Yeah, albeit very rare ( since, I would think they have a low chance of surviving past the time )

- Should other lethals be able to live?

...Maybe? However, I could definitely see a sirenomelia lion (albeit very unlikely) living past childhood.

Absolutely not. Just no.

The point of Lethals is just that - LETHAL. They get their value from being LETHAL. People want them because they are LETHAL and considered TROPHY LIONS.

How the heck is a conjoined lion going to be able to patrol? For all intents and purposes Conjoined lions are joined at the hips so only have 1 set of genitalia, but would likely be left behind when the pride migrates around the territory due to not being able to keep up, plus lions usually have multiple cubs per litter and the mum isn't going to put effort into raising something that shows weakness.

Sirenomelia CANT survive until adulthood because of the INTERNAL deformities that come with it - malformed genitalia, kidneys, oversized intestines etc. Have you ever seen an animal die from Megacolon (enlarged large intestine)? No? Well I have and its painful, a wild animal (as lions are) ain't surviving that.

Yes, but with the humanization of these lions they could easily make a lioness verily protective of her deformed cubs ( Also there's broodmothers that would stop the mom from just up and killing the cub if she isn't like that protective. )

Broodmothers are realistic though? Lionesses in prides take care of each others cubs all the time? They would also see the weak cub as a waste of resources.

Then what about the mothers who go over protective mode on those defective cubs?

They simply wouldn't, thats why evolution is a thing. Survival of the fittest is natures law.

Lionesses don't even protect their cubs from rival males that take over the pride and kill them to induce heat in the mother. They aren't going to protect something already sick and dying.
