What gameplay feature is this bug affecting?

What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
I didn't receive any error messages but I had the karma quest to gain 50 karma. It wouldn't go about 6 even after using 6 vulture eggs...it stayed at 6 so I explored gained about 20 karma and it still read six. I then just changed the quest to see if that would work. I now have twice the headache. I needed to cleanse 20 wisps...I was able to complete the quest right away for some reason it gave me 100+ as cleansed...the quest is gone..but the wisps are still spawning..the counter was also still wrong.

I couldn't complete the karma quest even after gaining 120+ karma..my reputation is 100+... I didn't have this problem yesterday everything was fine even at ro it was fine just still on cool down. It's not fine now

Accept quest to gain 50 karma
Used 2 eggs and explored
Karma counter read 2
Confused used 2 more eggs nothing changed though I ate the eggs instead of hatched used the last two same thing.
Spent the 20 shards to change quests thinking that was the only problem...it is not. The cleanse 20 wisps gave the opertunity to complete right away it also didn't raise or change.
Completed the quest since it somehow has my total count..not current..count
