i dont think it should be banned. often when i give away lions i ask for people to dm me a reason because i want to make sure the lions are going to people that actually want them. not just people that sit and claim in giveaway or just send them to be foddered/killed or traded for profit.
theyre still being given away for free, so i dont see the issue with why that would be against the rules in the first place. unless players are specifically asking for items and things in return for the lions, then that is against the rules of giveaways obviously.

thoughts are free. thats kinda ridiculous to say that sending someone a message doesnt make it a free exchange because you have to say why you want something. especially if youre already sending the person giving away lions a message with the links to the lions anyways. you are gaining, not losing anything.
im sure you didnt mean it that way, but your reply sounds like laziness and entitlement.

i believe in that if you dont want a lion killed or whatever that you shouldnt give them away. but sometimes its nice to give away high value things, why is it bad to ask for vetting?

This post really not even old yet. But yeah convincing isn't giving away. Giving away is no longer having any attachment to something or simply not wanting it any longer so you give it to someone else to do as they want with

I was judging by the date it was posted lol.

100% agree though, I’ve seen people posting “giveaway dens” in chat. The rules state that every cub with a 💰 icon wasn’t free and in the end literally every cub in the “adoption” den has a 💰 and there’s a single fodder with “for adoption” in its bio :/
At this point its just people trying to promote their sales ngl.

Yeah. I mean I’ve done convince me stuff when I was newer, but 99% of the time of time they got that lion for free. Most of these people aren’t doing that. They’re basically saying every lion isn’t free.

The only two times I charged were when someone wanted like four muts and when the other said they were willing to pay when I said I had gotten scammed and wasn’t going to give for free. (They offered to pay bc they really wanted the lion.)

Yeah. And I’ve stopped doing the convince me stuff, simply because I just couldn’t be bothered to do it anymore. But they way that the people I’ve talked to are doing it have everyone nft and ask you to pay if you really want the lion.

I post in giveaway chat when I have a ton to give away and don't feel like waiting the required time before being able to post again. Some times I have over 20+ lions/lionesses/cubs to give away and it's easier to just say "Everything in ____ Den is free. Message me with link/name to lion/s you want".
