No support. Whilst I understand your intentions, and I do think it would be nice, there are a lot of players who all come up with the same ideas - I've been guilty of it myself. You would run into issues where maybe a player stole an idea, or someone else brought it up and they posted it, or they have to spend a ton of time tracking down the first player to suggest something posted multiple times, etc. Unfortunately it just becomes too time consuming and confusing to do so in a manner that doesn't cause arguing and fighting about ideas. Sorry

yes, they have been suggested this but they also add their own touches alot of the time! Its honestly their choice if they wish to put credit. Also, if someone suggests something and they do add it, that person could possibly get insulted or bullied because other people are mad their suggestion didnt get picked to be in game.

@Mad Hyena - but the devs didn't come up with it. Jester makes a lot of points and as ghe said they didn't originally credit the user who suggested the spice marking colour. It's kinda like theft. And no one is doing it for "fame and glory" they're just doing it to be known.

"they're just doing it to be known" is the problem, phobia. That is NOT the point of suggestion forums. The reason to suggest a base/marking color is to hope it is added to the game. And by submitting your ideas into the suggestion forums, you automatically pass the rights over to the admins, to do what they see fit with them.

I know it's not the point of suggestion forums. Thinking back, I shouldn't've even typed "they're just doing it to be known." Like I know they're doing it for Lioden, but then if you pass the right to the admins, they should at least take it into consideration to say, "Oh, hey, (user) did this, thanks!" Maybe credit for just bases or markings could be fine because it's not like the idea came from them.

Largely I agree with Mad Hyena; I don't think individual credit is always necessary when it's pretty obvious from context that staff is following user suggestions. That's always how it's been - I don't think anyone thinks (or is meant to think) that staff magically come up with everything themselves..? If they came out in News and said "we, the staff, have personally thought of tons of great things entirely off our own bat and implemented them without any player input" and hid/deleted the suggestion posts people had made then sure, that'd be a problem. But that's not at all what happens or what News posts ever suggest imo. I've never got the impression staff are trying to take credit for the ideas themselves.

The whole idea of these types of updates - especially with the QoL stuff - is that they're adding popular, frequent suggestions. So I don't feel it matters to try and tally up every single minor addition with who originally posted it tbh. With common ideas many many people have made similar suggestions with only small differences, so if anything it's fairer not to attribute to any single player anyway. I haven't worried at all about credit when I've had ideas implemented in the past, I've just been really glad something useful was added in that improves the game for me and others. I don't really see why having your name out there attached to it would matter honestly

I'm kinda on a neutral side here.
I can totally see people being upset about not getting credit for a suggestion they have spend a lot of time on and explained it very detailed or maybe made a base/color they've spend a lot of time on. But I also agree with Mad Hyena and Myriad, if you make a suggestion you shouldn't demand credit if it's not given. (especially to the QoL stuff we have gotten now.) Just be happy your suggestion was so much liked that it is now part of this game.
If that would happen to one of my suggestions without getting credit, I would just shrug it off. After all, I don't think anyone would care about the origins after a few days or weeks after the addition to the game.
