Maybe its just me and Im only trying to view it with shard currently but chameleon skins are not working for me in wardrobe. Ive only viewed it with shard base, checked multiple mutations and ages and backgrounds and chameleon skin just isnt working in my wardrobe? I dislike shard base just as lack of preference but want to use it for similar genetics breeding for passing jellyfish. So I want to make the base clear. But I cannot see it in wardrobe to view the best backgrounds for blending? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I've had issues with the chameleon skin before, but as an aside I want to note that similar genetics will not help you pass jellyfish. Special bases have a set pass rate. Jellyfish should pass 2% of the time when bred to another special, rare, or uncommon-based lion regardless of color group or shade. It's 1% when bred to a common base. Your best chance would be another jellyfish or any combo base it's not a factor for since jellyfish would then pass 4% of the time. I hope that can help and you don't have to deal with shard! 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 18/12/23 @ 17:34:47 by leon πβ (#208511) |

But it does increase the chance when it has the same genetics so mixing a special base with any special base creates issues. If its in the same color and shading group its been released that it increases the chances! And if you play around with every base combo in the base outcome viewer certain bases produce significantly less outcomes which also increases your chances. It took me a while but I viewed every single outcome in outcome viewer and looked at the genetics pairing. But jellyfish plus jellyfish only has an outcome of nine possible bases, as well as jellyfish x elysian, the lower applicable special base crosses were shard, augur, penumbra and ice. All of these have only 11 possible base outcomes when bred to a jellyfish with the special base and genetics combo it offers the increased pass percentage! The bases that arent special that have low outcomes are black, dikela, gray, gunmetal gray, korat, pewter, slate and vandal and while they dont offer the 2% increase chance of passing jellyfish when bred to jellyfish they do only have nine outcomes, vs some special bases have over 50 possible outcomes when bred to jellyfish 0 players like this post! I'm sorry! If you look at the wiki, it does clarify that color and shading do not affect the pass. Special bases will never pass unless one of the parents is that specific Special base. Your highest odds of producing a Special base would be to breed together two Special rarity lions. It's worth clarifying that colour group, gradient, and shade crossings do not affect Special rates. Pairing two Specials in the same colour group or two Specials in differing colour groups both have the same 4% chance to produce a Special base. From the genetics wiki! https://www.lioden.wiki/base-genetics They had a newspost all about in June last year. https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429455370 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ah its still my preference to breed this way when it has less outcomes in outcome viewer thats less bases to compete with so I would rather go by that 0 players like this post! Like? |

When you breed that way, you're only limiting the rare, uncommon, and common bases you can get. The specials have a flat rate to pass and aren't competing with the fail bases. It's 2% to pass (rare, uncommon, or special) no matter how many fail bases there are. Whatever you prefer is okay of course! I just wanted to let you know in case it'd be helpful. 1 player likes this post! Like? |
