Wubbzy took a spot to sit in and reaper joined at his side. He cleared his throat to start. " The offer was to join our prides hunting parties together. I believe with our most skilled lionesses working together it's guaranteed to pay off in the end with more prey potentially being caught. I will say I did not come up with this idea alone, Brutus and Wicked had". He said.

While Wubbzy was a good and smart King on his own, his lionesses that had been around longer than him knew what to do more so when it came to feeding the pride.

Reaper then took the pause as his turn to explain along side his King. " We were thinking a hunting part of six or seven. Three from ours and three or four from yours that will participate in the hunting party", He said, " And we will split what the hunting parties bring as fair. Depending how many are in each pride we give the larger pride the bigger share of course. It makes sense with more mouths to feed but not too much that it may seem unfair to others pride members. The last thing I think we want from wither pride is those who don't deem it fair".

Brutus looked around at first before following in." I see you lot are quite smart, keeping the mothers den in a place hard to reach for any one bigger". She said as she came through the other side. " Wish we had a place like yours for that. When Wubbzy took over he had us move to a more grassy territory... Which has been fine but I miss our old place". She said

Salman nodded. It seemed like a fair proposition to him. He looked at his father. Solid red eyes looked at no one in particular. His face was expressionless though. Perhaps they should have offered for Caleb or another male to join them. There might have been a chance for more positive input. Of course now Salman could see why they had so many relational problems with the other prides.

"I think that sounds like a fine idea." Salman said. "How-"

"We should send ambassadors." Neo said. Salman looked back at his father.

"Ambassadors?" He repeated.

"To make sure the food distribution is equal. If we have someone over there we can ensure our half is not being held from us." Neo stated

"But our lionesses would ensure that." Salman said.

"An ambassador would be a way of double checking." Neo flatly insisted.

Salman sighed. He looked back at Wubzy. "I personally think your idea is wonderful. We stopped working in parties a long while ago, but the lionesses should remember how to organize themselves." He paused. He was going to get a rap for that. "We will send Mostafa, um, another one of our submales to help coordinate that effort." He looked at his father. No approval, only silence. "I'll introduce you shortly. What do you think of my father's proposition of ambassadors?" Salman had more thoughts, but he knew what punishments could come from defying father publicly. He simply grew silent, wishing his eyes weren't the same color as his father's.

Hadiza walked around the den. In theory it was a den, a large dome like space hewn out of the red rock. The ground though was a soft white sand and there were patches of grasses and flowers that grew here and there. Tightly weaved nests lay around the perimeter. Each stuffed with feathers and herbs. Soft and nice smelling bedding.

"I know the feeling. While Neo would never move us from here, I too moved from place to place. I once lived near a river. My old pride thought me not good enough so when I was simply a year old they dropped me at the giving tree. The old pride leader, crazy as he was, found me and brought me here." She looked at the walls, running her tail down the smooth surface. "It's not easy coming to a new place, but it does certainly hold unexpected surprises." She looked at Brutus and smiled. Perhaps genuine for a moment.

"Well I guess that's enough about me!" She suddenly exclaimed, "Let me show you the next area."

Reaper would whisper to Wubbzy for a moment, his expression shifting from curious to agreement. " Reaper and I agree that would be fair as long as we send our own as well, I will appoint Reaper and my Heir Custer to be our ambassadors", Reaper then spoke up as an idea came to him, " If these four can be able to negotiate well about the food shares, then it they will stay in these roles while our prides will be working together. Should they be unable to come to agreement I propose the food will be left at the Giving Tree for other prides to eat". Reaper seemed to well focused and thought out about this idea. He thought it was fair that if neither can agree then instead of making food go to waste they'd give it to another Pride.

"They should be given three days to come to an agreement, enough days to still consume the meat before it starts to rot". He added.

Wubbzy did not seem taken back the slightest of Reaper speaking before him or even for him. If anything, he seemed quite proud, maybe he plans on making him his heir to the pride after all before Custer.

"I've seen my fair share of places, it was quite a change from my old pride to move to such... nicer lions. To put it easy. All the lionesses actually seemed to want to be my friend depsite my old look. Even cubs like playing with me. It was very different reactions to what I was used to". Brutus said, and seemed to smile a little, reflecting on a memory with young Reaper. Who was one of the first cubs that approached her at the time.

" But yes-", she said clearing her throat, " Show me the next area".

"I agree." Neo replied. "But my son Salman and his brother Caleb shall remain with you."

"But father." Salman interjected. "He's still only a cub."

In usual fashion Salman's plea was over looked. He settled back into the nesting. "We won't be much trouble, and won't take more than our share." He took a peak at his father, but Neo didnt seem to notice. "And your ambassadors will stay here if course. It's only fair."

Hadiza walked out of the den. "Aw yes, nicer lions. But it is a shame that other lions judge so harshly. I was judged when I first arrived, but then found friendship with the younger Neo, and his grandmother Shandiece. But that is another story entirely." She paused near a crack a stones throw from the nursing mothers den.

"This is the-"

"Submales den?" A male voice interrupted. Hadiza instantly looked up. A brown and dark striped male looked down at them with a curious grin on his face. "Showing our visitor around, my queen?"

Hadiza nodded. "Quite, um, we were just passing by."

"Oh no, it's fine. I just don't want poor old Radishi to startle when he finds two females walking in." He chuckled he looked to Brutus. "I'm Mostafa by the way. Your Brutus right? Came with your King and Reaper. They seem like nice folks "

Wubbzy seemed to think before answering, he hoped Custer wouldn't cause too much trouble and his... sadistic tendencies would not show through too much. " I see then. Anything else we should add onto this deal? If not I believe we may be done with discussing it".

Reaper seemed a little concerned with Custer having to stay within this pride with him. He knows Wubbzy wants him to change how he behaves with others but Custer could be a little... difficult.

He remembers how Custer was treating some of the cubs when he joined. He played with them too rough and some lionesses complained but Wubbzy promised them Custer wouldn't actually hurt them. And he hasn't...

Yet...

Brutus looked at Mostafa with a slightly wary expression but settled on neutral. " Yes, I came with my King and Reaper. If anything Wubbzy is more friendly than any other King before him. Maybe a little too friendly..and hopeful for my taste". She said.

"And Radishi? Is he a retired sub male?", she asked curiously

Neo nodded. "Yes I think we're done here." He said. He held out his massive paw for a shake. Salman merely watched the exchange. He wasn't worried to much for himself, or really Caleb for that matter. He was worried for Reaper and the other male. Custer was his name? His father wasn't used to having strangers and with the already divided nature of the lionesses...well chaos might be in order.

"Stay with us another night." Salman chimmed in. "Then we will head off with you in the morning."

"As soon as the lionesses hear they'll probably want to send you off with a small party of sorts." Neo groaned.

At first Mostafa was taken back by her neutral tone. Even, not much emotion, but then again, he understood. She was new to the area. At least Hadiza was being decent and showing her around.

"No." Mostafa said. Chuckling a bit at her question. "He's older, but still enjoys a good jog around the boarder."

"Some of our submales don't understand the word retirement." Hadiza inserted flatly.

"And I hope I don't either. I'd rather work my whole life than just give up and lay around bored for the end part of it." He shrugged. "Although, the cubs might enjoy the idea of having a slower play toy to chase around."

Wubbzy took Neo's paw for the shake, smiling. " A small party? sounds like fun. But they shouldn't need to!". Wubbzy said, though he probably would like it even if it was small.

Reaper seemed interested in said party, his pride actually enjoyed celebrations. They had some for the young lionesses that become hunters and others that have cubs with mutations or a big litter. Though with the the situation they were in they haven't had a big celebration in awhile.

Once they come home they might have one.

Brutus seemed to ease up a little, seeing how Hadiza was responding, and her body language didn't seem tense to her much..

She chuckled." Oh I could understand, the young lionesses are tired of me leading them every hunting party and Wicked tries telling me to retire soon". She said. She was sure Wicked wanted to be lead hunter and didn't let her guard down around her much.
