Kasumi lifted her head and scanned the area, still no customers in sight. Usually it was busy around this time. Maybe there was an event going on somewhere else in the Earth Kingdom. She took note of the other vendors beginning to pack up and sighed. “Might as well pack it up too.” Kasumi mumbled to herself, standing up and stretching. Uma, the wonder of the stand, had been out of town for a few days; putting Kasumi solely in charge of the stand. Kasumi didn’t mind, she got to keep any extra cash she made on her own fruits that she grew. It only meant she had less time to practice her bending. She had found a perfectly secluded spot as well, so no one could see her water bending. Kasumi bent down to pick of the fruit boxes, quickly shoving the fruits wherever they would fit. Her mind now filled with thoughts of which moves she would practice, no longer caring about the stand. She picked up the two boxes, filled to the brim with fruit, and began carefully walking back to Uma’s house to drop them off. One wrong move and the boxes would go flying.

“Oh, yeah right. Sorry. I’m ready. I didn’t mean to hold us up. Let’s go!” He set off with his new friend, suddenly determined even more to help him. He realized that having such a nice fire bender would certainly ward off anything else that might come, and it didn’t really matter if anything was suspicious. And this guy was such a friendly person! He was just thinking in circles wasn’t he? Well, it was time to move forward. Here was a new goal, a reason to do everything in his power to help. Yes. To the Earth Kingdom!
