This will be the new version of the original though I may add a few changes! murderthistle | they/it/any (#230278) will be helping me with further plot lines, drama etc Please use the OOC below for any questions or just general chatter! OOC After a magical instability happened creatures or to humans monsters, crawled out of rifts from their world into the human one. The humans being frightened of these so called monsters send them to facilities to be studied however more and more of them began escaping hiding themselves amongst the humans, however they all have their own section of town that they live and thrive in near the facility away from the humans. Although a few humans venture too close and find the creatures thriving. Now of course remember there is always the possibility THAT YOU CAN BE SENT BACK TO THE FACILITY! (Your choice of course pm me if you wish for that to happen and have your character escape or stuff like that again) Also you were out there under the illusion that the government wanted to make sure the humanoids were safe and healthy and not going to hurt people but they just want to learn how they can weaponize their existence or use it against people. Though that might be discovered later in the story and the characters will find a better place to hide from the government. Humans have mixed emotions about the humanoids, some strongly dislike them while others don’t mind their existence. What’s your name?” He hadn’t noticed any slip ups, glancing at the moss and taking a tiny sample to press in his sketchbook before he offered his hand. Ash She smiled taking his hand and shaking it.” I’m Ashlynn but call me Ash.” She stated.” Nice to meet you Max.” She said in a more happy tone to not cause any suspicious behavior to happen after her almost exposing herself to him. Max He gave a bit of a grin. At least he had a name to the face now, and she wasn’t even scared away by his weird view on monsters! The uncanny feeling he had around her had lessened now that he was more familiar with her. Maybe he just sucked that much at socializing? “Likewise.” He glanced around the woods, it was peaceful. Ash She nodded.” I do. A couple of nice spots I’ve seen. There could be creatures there I’m not sure though. As your father said they like to roam around here.” She admitted. She would wait to tell him about her species, perhaps show him her ears. Max He nodded, imagining a few pretty scenes he could sketch.. The lighting would be fun to work with, especially in grayscale. He paused when she mentioned the fact that creatures could be there. He thought to himself, was it really so bad? Maybe he could satisfy some of his curiosity, and Ash seemed perfectly fine and she claimed to be in the woods all the time. Despite just meeting her less than an hour ago, Leo felt she was trustworthy. “I’m sure it’ll be fine. We won’t bother them, they won’t bother us. Hopefully at least.” 0 players like this post! Max He hesitated when she asked to see, but after a moment’s consideration he took out his sketchbook and flipped to a basic drawing of the sunset from the rooftop of one of the condemned buildings he’d explored. It was in grayscale, a few mistakes in the lighting but otherwise decently detailed. “I was cold so a few lines are shaky, but it’s one of my better works.” He could hear the frogs and the gurgle of the water. Maybe he’d sit and draw it, if Ash was willing to wait. No, he’d better just commit the image to memory and try and reproduce it later when he and the time. 0 players like this post! Like? |

She had such an urge to shift to her kitsune and swim in the river like she normally would but she held back so she wouldn’t expose what she was to Max. Not yet.
