Community UpdateAside from monthly event news posts and the 2nd Friday of each month being focused on art/coding updates, all other Fridays are centered around the community!

Pin the Prey LeaderboardsIn the October 2023 Development Update, Pin the Prey received an update which added a level cap. Prior to this update, the game could continue on indefinitely, allowing for very high high-scores. It was intended to clear any scores submitted before this update. Unfortunately at the time, that was overlooked, and old (now impossible to beat) scores continued to reside on the All Time leaderboard. These older scores have now been cleared out.
Bug Fixes* After the server move, timestamps in chat were showing midnight as "24" instead of the typical "00". This was due to a software update that changed the hourly cycle options. We are now back to only 23 hours in a day instead of 24. * Lionesses no longer come back with the incorrect prey for the tile type they are hunting on.

It was a really hard question in the poll. I'm a fan of combo bases. I really love this aspect of game and I managed to even memorize most of factors and results. I think combo breeding gives some bases a point to exist. Like, there are some unwanted applicators that nobody wants on their heir and they're going for cheap price everywhere. These bases are the best to consider them as factors. At the same time, I really hope some bases that are harder to get, like sunrise, stratosphere or jellyfish will get their combos too. It could be very satisfying and they could give absolutely beautiful combos. Now, they are just good bases and that's all. You are spending a lot of gb to get this dream sunrise heir and it's satisfying but...what can you do next? In such situations I feel like on a dead end. It's hard to explain so I'll use my example. I play with a scoundrel heir for much time now. I had like, 3 or 4 scoundrel heirs I think. And I had this feeling that I should change this style because the best I can do with this special base is to pass it and that's all. I didn't like ukame that much but I always had in mind I can do more with Ukame because of Majivu combo base. I was really happy when witch base was introduced because it gave my heir a sense! Even if it's only 1 month in a year I now think it's so worth to have a scoundrel. That's why I think new combo bases should focus on both kinds of bases. They should mix these rarer , harder bases with unwanted and cheap app ones. This way, what could happen in my opinion: - players who have pretty but applicator bases, could have a feeling they have nice lion but they can try for more- for BO bases and combos -players who have BO bases and heirs that was harder to get wouldn't feel like on dead end and they'd have more to explore than just copy themselves -unwanted bases will get new life. Ammonite goes for like 250 SB if I remember correctly? And yesterday I bought a brimstone for 1000. I only buy these bases if I need to increase a pass chance of a better base. Idk if anyone reads this but I love combo bases so much and maybe someone will consider my point :) Thank you for reading and sorry for mistakes! 1 player likes this post! There's really short sighted reasons for putting applicators on combos. Its not like they shouldn't be considered at all, but like Maro said, BO bases are a deadend. The market for lions is so bad right now, its a buyers market which is great for the buyers, but for anyone trying to make money in this game, its not great. Giving applicator combos love would be putting more money into the hands of people that have the time and money to grind event currency. Let RNG even things out for everyone while also invigorating the market for bases we already have! 0 players like this post! Like? |
