What gameplay feature is this bug affecting? Breeding What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible. hello! i've been trying to breed my lioness with this lion for the past day and a half but it doesn't seem to be working correctly? Like, the person who owns the stud says that they used the GOP i sent with the request but when they tried to breed with my lioness the GOP is stuck on the lion and the lion meat disappeared from the lioness Any links relating to this bug? If it's complex, please include screenshots where possible: 1. Sent stud request to the stud. 2. Owner of lion accepted, the GOP was taken but the breeding failed 3. Items restored after own of lion sent a modbox request 4. sent another request to the same stud with the same lioness 5. GOP is stuck on the stud and the lion meat that was on the lioness is now missing, neither item has been restored  0 players like this post! Like? |

Modbox suggested that I mentioned i was apart of this. When i attempted to accept the stud request, i got this error https://imgur.com/a/YRYz3zj , and the stud request vanished without any reject/removal/sucessful breeding message. The grain of paradise is still stuck on my king. In my logs this is what it shows for the breedings https://imgur.com/a/TBFr5EO (note, the gop was attached to the breeding request, i didn't attach it myself) 0 players like this post! Like? |

So I did investigate this, and it was caused by a rare issue when attempting to send out a notification. The system errored out, then tried to use that error ID to send a notification (which wouldn't work because a message with that ID already existed -- which is the error in the screenshot). The breeding did submit, but only completed partially right up until the error. The way errors are handled on the backend has been changed, so something like this specifically shouldn't occur again. Unfortunately there isn't anything I can do in this instance about the breeding itself. I will go ahead and remove the item effects, however. Sorry for the delay in this, it was quite a strange case! 2 players like this post! Like? |
