Lore: The old king of this pride, dear old Coalfoot, was rather shocked when Aleela came padding through the tall grasses around the pride's main den site. Although Coalfoot had lived a long time, and the former king had been a smilus, Coalfoot had never met another ordinary primal like himself. Aleela was greeted with delighted and curious chuffing from the big dopey king, which she tolerated patiently. Coalfoot backed off as soon as he caught site of the Slithering Wrath, having survived the time when the gods awoke and not having such a good association with them, but he calmed down when it became clear that it was tame and safe to be around. Coalfoot showed Aleela the place that he thought she would enjoy staying at the most until she parted ways with the pride again: Nuska's history den. Nuska wasn't so happy to have another lioness around, tail flicking about irritably, as she's not exactly a friendly lion, but because she knew this would only be for a few days, she tolerated Aleela, so long as she didn't touch her.
Aleela eventually convinced Nuska to explain the history of the pride out loud, instead of telling Aleela to 'just read the paintings on the wall, they tell the story just as well', and Aleela got to spend some time with the cub that spent the most time around Nuska, Coalfoot's mysterious, silent heir Janus. Fortunately for Nuska's sanity, Aleela left her alone for the periods of time during the day when the other lionesses went hunting. The other huntresses were pretty impressed at how well Aleela could stay silent, despite her big paws and body.
When it was time to go, Coalfoot gifted Aleela more jewelry to go with her necklace, to remember them by. And, unbeknownst to the pride, the whisper of a lioness who had long past decided to leave Nuska's cave of history, and join Aleela on her journey. Maybe the deceased lioness also wanted to give the fallen king that traveled with Aleela some company, as well.

Pride: Pride of Bad Decisions lead by Keeva (#89370) (Arrived 8/5)
Decor Added: Vulterine Feather Decor and Forest Wood Hoopoe
What decor would you like returned?: None!
Lore: When Aleela arrived to the valley where the Pride of Bad Decisions laid, she was greeted by a golden female dressed to the nines in gold chains and shiny jewelry and lead to a cave far away from the pride. Aleela is honestly unsure if the pride even knew she was there as the female, who called herself Kel, kept her within the cave and never seemed to leave her side. Aleela was wary of Kel, finding her overbearing demeanor a facade for something much darker. She doesn't entirely remember her entire time, remembering a lot of smoke and the smell of something sweet. The sweet smell still permeate her nose, and she left the valley, more stumbled out of it with a new feathered friend that whispers to her in a language she doesn't understand and a feather behind her ear.

Pride: Lunar Eclipse (#109767)
Decor Added: Moonlight, Blue Skimmer
What decor would you like returned?: None
Lore: The savage king Lunar Eclipse wasn't present when Aleela arrived on the pride's lands. Not sure how their king would take a stranger showing up and staying for a few days, the pride broodmothers invited her to share their den until she decided to move on. When he returned, they managed to talk him into letting her stay. It was only a couple of days after all. On her last day, the ladies gave Aleela an insect that they had initially assumed was one of their king's beetles as well as what appeared to be tangible moonlight as a parting gift.

Pride: Lorkhaj #43320
Decor Added: Trophy Tree, War Paint: Reaper, War Paint: Stealth
What decor would you like returned?: None
Lore: Aleela wandered into Lorkhaj's territory purely by accident. She hadn't the slightest idea that the shallow valley with a slight river running down it was pride turf. It didn't smell anything like a pride at least to the primal female. She got the feeling she was being watched the whole way through that valley and her instinct was right on. When she reached the end where a waterfall fed the river below, there she found a series of deep caves dotting the area. One large on right behind the waterfall and several smaller ones dotting around. From the smaller ones a small but kind eyed red colored lioness approached. Her strange two-toned eyes watched the large newcomer. She stopped with a fair distance between them and said, "You are unknown to us but this pride welcomes you all the same. The King Lorkhaj is asleep at this moment but allows me to make decisions in his absence. I am La'valeri and I welcome you."
They got to talking and the jasper eyed lioness La'valeri and Aleela became quick friends. She showed Aleela all the neat secrets this pride had to offer and while Lorkhaj grumbled a bit about sharing overmuch he didn't intervene in the fast friendship the two had formed.
Lorkhaj spent just enough time with Aleela to sire some cubs on her then promptly grew bored with the whole situation. Quite the king that one.... La'valeri said that while the name of the King was always the same the lion who took the name was always very different. This one was lazy and outright mean. The last was mysterious and appeared evil but was kind by nature. It was always a toss up who would lead next. Aleela learned all she could of this place and was gifted by La'valeri some war paint that the best of the best hunters would wear in this pride, painted by the head lioness herself. Aleela had a wonderful time here and moved on soon after to new lands...

Lore:
Aleela had been found weak and thirsty in the heat of the August fires by the Heavenly Iberar. Curious about this heavily adorned lioness, Iberar brought Aleela some meat and plenty of water to refresh herself with.

"Small sips, don't make yourself sick," Iberar whispered with a warm smile. She had a few of these primal lionesses in her own pride, but it was always interesting to meet more.
"What is your name? I am Iberar, and my pride cares for these lands."

Aleela sipped the water gratefully, and took a few mouthfuls of the okapi Iberar provided,

"I am Aleela, and I am a traveler. I explore the lands and have met many kings and queens in my life." Iberar raised her brows and smiled, the heavenly dust pouring from the crinkles in the corners of her eyes. "A traveler, eh? I haven't met any travelers before. I do some traveling but it's different than yours. I bet you have some lovely stories, and I would be honored to have such a seasoned lioness stay with my pride for a while," Iberar bowed her head in respect. After swallowing the last of her meal, Aleela stood, briefly cleaned her face, and accepted Iberar's offer.

Once they reached the pride, the cubs swarmed poor Aleela. "Children, children! Please, she has had a long journey, and I'm sure she'd like to know where to lay her head for the nights to come," Iberar chuckled and ushered the cubs back to the Ferus who was supposed to be watching them.

"Oh, I don't mind. I'm sure they want to hear my stories as much as you do" Aleela rumbled, amused. While Iberar may be Queen, and certainly has stories of her own judging by her appearance, Aleela could tell she was still a cub at heart. Iberar smiled sheepishly at the Traveler, and nodded quickly.

"Once you have settled in for a little, I'm sure we'd all love to hear the stories of your travels. Perhaps over dinner?" Iberar beamed with excitement, and hoped she wasnt asking too much of the Primal already. Aleela laughed heartily and agreed to the eager Queen's proposal.

Dinner came and nearly the entire pride was crowded close, eager to hear of the Lioness's many adventures. This became a new tradition for the following months, every night they'd sit around in a circle, and listen to one of Aleela's stories.

Eventually, it came time for the traveler to move on, as was expected. It did not make it any less sad, however, as the pride had grown fond of this wandering lioness.

"To bring you luck, that you may always find water and food during these harsh times," Iberar had said as she placed the lucky rabbits foot necklace around Aleelas neck, "we will miss you dearly."

Aleela smiled sweetly then said her goodbyes, beginning her journey to her next great adventure.

Lore: Aleela wandered in the heat for some time, when she came across some claimed territory. She knew by scent marks that the land wasn't vacant, and she grew excited at the thought of finding another pride to share stories with. Carefully but assured, Aleela travelled deeper into the area, until she was met with a lioness on guard duty. "Who goes there? State your intentions." Aleela gave a friendly smile.
"I'm Aleela, a traveler. I've come in the hopes that I can stay to share stories and quench my thirst for a while." The pink cheetah-marked guard perked up with a friendly expression.
"Oooh! We love travelers! Come with me and we can go meet everyone!" The lioness hopped down from the parched stump she had been sitting on, and flicked her tail to signal Aleela to follow. "Oh! My name is Cinnabutt, by the way!" Aleela held back a giggle, and followed the cheery lioness.
When they got to the center of the pride's territory, Aleela was introduced to the king, a pink Felis. His name was Mazeratti the Second. He was very friendly and gave Aleela a warm welcome, along with the rest of his pride, and he threw a fun celebration for her. During the celebration, Mazeratti took note of Aleela's spirit companions, and so he offered her a gift. At the height of the festivities, Mazeratti blessed Aleela with Lich-fire. He assured her it was merely aesthetic, and would have no other effects. Aleela got to see herself in the creek that ran through the land, and was surprised. She had ghostly fire in her eyes and mouth! She took time to admire her new appearance and spent the rest of the night partying with the pride.
A few months passed, with Aleela sharing stories and going on hunts with the lionesses. As the days grew ever so slightly cooler, Aleela knew it was time to move on. She was given water-filled plants from the pride so she wouldn't grow thirsty on her travels. As night fell, she shared bittersweet goodbyes with the pride-members before finally leaving in the night. Her next adventure awaited her.

Lore: When Aleela came to King Askari's pride she witnessed him sending off one of his young daughters. She questioned him why she was sending the cub off so young, "A lot of my cubs wish to travel and see the sights the world has to offer. I let them go because I trust that those they visit will welcome them with open arms, just as my pride welcomes travellers," and a welcome Aleela got. King Askari himself was also a primal lion. Only a little taller than Aleela, but he showed her to all of the other primals, and even mutated lionesses of the pride. The primals all took a liking to Aleela, comparing fangs and telling stories. She was offered a spot in the hunting troop, but she had to decline due to the hot weather of August. Aleela did watch the Hunting Troop from a distance with some of the adolescents while the huntresses hunted at night, she found it a little odd that one of the huntresses was a male, but she didn't question it, with how Askari led the pride and let his brothers and even lions that didn't have a relation with anyone in the pride stay. Aleela liked this strange pride, but it was time for her to head on again. Maybe she would see Askari's cubs on her travels?

Lore: Aleela arrived Red Star's pride at night, some lionesses were patrolling the territory and when they spotted her, they surronded Aleela, asking for explanations of what she was doing there. Aleela explained that she's a traveler and she's only visciting other prides. The lionesses relaxed and let her in, guiding her to the shelter cave. It was so quiet, that Aleela could hear her own breath, there was lionesses sleeping inside, along with some cubs. The cave was kinda coold, but they seemed to be used to it.
One of the lionesses, Toz, told her were was her nest, and Aleela went to sleep.
At the next day she was properly welcomed by Red Star and other lions, the ones who found her lastnight apologized for being so hostile, but this month had been a rough one, the locusts and other situacions had affected the pride, and they don't know how's the next month going to be. Aleela comprehended, as she had seen how the locusts have been devouring everything on their path, making the herds migrate in order to find food, ergo, making the food scarce.
Being a primal, she knew that she could kill big prey, so she decided to help the pride by getting food. She went to several hunting sessions and always bringed back something good to eat, since buffalos to elephant calves, ending the pride's famine.

Pride : The Providence Pride (Hannbells #129483) - September 23, 2020
Decor Added : Giant Stick Insect [1] and Guernsey Lily [1]
What decor would you like returned? : None!
Lore : Aleela was quite sure she was lost. She had traveled far to many different prides to meet many different lions, but this land felt different to the rest. Beautiful lush green grass brushed against her belly, and even in some places, the grass went completely over her head. She hadn't visited such high grassy territory in her journey so far, and her companions whispered to her about caution. The primal female took it seriously of course, as the wrath and spirit which accompanied her could either float or were taller than her. She wasn't necessarily afraid when she picked up a pride scent as she crossed a small river, barely too big to walk over. She jumped and landed gracefully, keeping her black eyes on her surroundings. A yowl made her leap in the air, head swiveling wildly to find where it came from. More yowls and good-humored growls followed, so she headed in the direction despite the warnings from her friends.

Only a few tail-lengths away was a hidden meadow in the freakishly tall grass. The grass in the meadow had been flattened by large paws, and when Aleela peeked through the stalks, her heart dropped in her chest at the sight. Two giant ferus primals were fighting, rolling on top of the grass as they continued to crash, claw, and bite one another. Unable to stop herself, Aleela charged forward into the clearing and shouted, "Wait!" before one of them could grab the other's scruff.

Both lions immediately untangled themselves from each other, rising to their full heights. Aleela had heard about and seen a few ferus primals, but she had easily forgotten how much more... intimidating they were compared to normal primals like herself. The one closest to her had a soft golden base with pale lilac stripes. The other had dark cream fur and noctis hyena blots scarcely speckled on her fur. What was most interesting about the pair was the fact that both were looking at her in complete amusement. Neither seemed much concerned about an outsider in the land. It was confirmed when the later spoke, sharp wit etched in every word. "Another traveler, I take it? We usually receive word from the surrounding prides. Who are you?"

"Aleela. I have traveled far."

The other lion blinked, green eyes narrowed. "From the north?" At her nod, he glanced at his companion before focusing back on the visitor. His body relaxed slightly, both ferus primals now looking more welcoming than a moment ago; though one look would remind everyone that there was still a lot of power in those muscles. "Welcome to providence. Our pride is part of an alliance with six other prides to the west and south of here. We're known as the Lakes Alliance."

Aleela had never heard of their specific alliance, but she has of course heard about alliances between prides. They were common, though how seven prides could be neighbors was beyond her understanding. "If it's not too much trouble..."

"You're welcome to stay with us for a while." The lighter ferus cut in. "We have many travelers from the north and east. I'm sure between all of you, we'll be hearing stories every moment of the day."

Aleela followed the two ferus primals back to their camp, learning their names on the way. Bambi was the lighter female ferus with the blots. She was charming in an odd way; incredibly straightforward without any ill intents. The other, Thor, was charming in his own way as well. He was incredibly humble and courteous, something she would not have guessed considering his role as a sub male. When they arrived at camp, Aleela was introduced to the queen, Ishtar I, a beautiful blue and red lioness with a piebald mutation. She was followed by a small white feline with black spots, who she soon learned was a snow leopard named Tempo. The pride members and other travelers were very friendly, and she found it adorable how small rodents and birds were friendly with everyone.

When it was her time to leave, Ishtar bestowed her a bouquet of the same crimson lilies she held. It wasn't until after a while on her journey east that she realized a walking stick insect had decided to follow her. The primal smiled at her newest companion, remembering her time in providence fondly.

Lore : Redtail were feeling a little distressed at an argument that broke out earlier. Thankfully, Aleela came up to him to nuzzle him and tell him it wasn't his fault. She's right - and he feels better. She thought it was funny how pumped up Redtail got by her saying it wasn’t his fault, so she kept going, hyping him up even more until he said “Yeah! I’m going to go confront her about it!” And he bounded away. Whoops.. Aleela slunk away as she saw it was Fallen Dawn that had argued with Redtail and she did NOT want to be there when he pissed her off.

Pride: The Pride of Soaring Eagles (Uhuru #92107)
Decor Added: Panther Chameleon
What decor would you like returned: none
Cubs: One cub was accidentally used for the Enclave, sent 1500 SB to xrennnex (2) instead
Lore: Aleela lingered in the shadows for a few days and watched the Pride from afar, before she finally made the decision to approach the lions of the Pride of Soaring Eagles. Prey had eluded her, but she could see that the freshkill pile of the Pride was full. She needed to eat if she wanted to feed her Pride - and therefore she had no other choice but to ask for help for herself and the cub she was nursing. It therefore was the logical thing to do.

King Filius Flitwick II, however, had never been known as a kind ruler. He knew no mercy and had often been described as heartless. He had slain many lionesses and cubs in the past, and Allela therefore figured that she was lucky to be allowed to stay. Her cub, however, was less lucky. It was mercilessly handed over to a violent band of marauding monkeys. After that, Allela saw no reason to stay with the Pride much longer and left their camp at the first chance.

Savannahnight's Pride #143743
Aleela brushed past the long grass and almost fell into a watering hole. A male lion was there, clearly a ruler of a large pride, as his shoulders looked heavy with burden, and two cubs played at his feet. She remembered her cub that was killed and grieved quietly. "Hello there, are you a traveller?" He asked. Aleela looked up and nodded. he must meet many travellers to be able to recognise one just by looking.
as Aleela approached the King looked her up and down and squinted. "I think I've seen a lion like you before... we don't get many primals around here, my pride may not be very welcoming," he explained apologetically. The two cubs that were playing looked at Aleela and ran back to their mothers.
Aleela then met the pride, who were actually very welcoming, they asked many questions about her travels, but the cubs' questions were mostly why she looked so different.
She met Benign Pelt, a young lioness with achromia, who took a liking to her very quickly.
>You were feeling a little distressed at an argument that broke out earlier. Thankfully, Aleela came up to you to nuzzle you and tell you it wasn't your fault. She's right - and you feel better.

Pride: Swamp Spa Paradise
Decor:
During Aleela's stay at the swamp, she partook in some of Keralis's 'aphrodesiac'. It was rather interesting and very fun. They caused her to giggle often and enjoyed rolling in the mud pools. Once she was ready to leave, she said goodbye to the lovely ladies who bathed with her. Aleela felt well rested and her fur more silky than usual!
