She joined the pride as a cub and fell in love with Tahoma quickly when they were adults, spending their time cuddling and talking, since the size and stamina difference made it hard to play, or spar.
Even if they couldn't do that, they still had tons of fun.
They were very quick to tell each other about how they felt, and just as quick to both suggest the idea of being with other lions, as well as themselves.
They both loved each other fully, and they didn't want to be with other lions because they didn't like each other, they just wanted to try it out. ...And when they did, they realized that was perfect for them.
Even though they didn't have the same taste in partners, and figured it out they'd never both be able to date the same lion together, it still worked well for them.
Nyeusi was the first to be added to the relationship, but he was gay and he and Merrylynn didn't really feel that way towards each other, so he was only Tahoma's partner.
And then Asra joined, but again, he and Merrylynn didn't think of each other like that, so he was only Tahoma's partner, too.
Then Merrylynn introduced Kudu, and she, Tahoma, and Asra got along well with her. ...But Merrylynn lost feelings, and Asra realized he and Kudu didn't have a lot in common, so she ended up being just Tahoma's partner, also...
That's when Merrylynn realized he was more of a short relationship type person, and Tahoma was the only lion she wanted to have a long relationship with.
She still liked to hang out with other lions, but she stopped trying to have anything serious with anyone else.
Years later, Tahoma's parents passed and Merrylynn, Nyeusi, and Asra comforted him for a whole month.
