Shortly after the king Yealem found this land, Tierra appeared to him and his small pride, claiming to be the grove's spirit protector. Tierra would tell Yealem that if he and his lionesses wished to stay in the ecosystem she had curated and nurtured since time of ancient lions, and he must respect and follow her way, and promise to keep the grove as pristine and beautiful as when King Yealem had found it.
