Aegnor and her sister, Peredhel, grew up being doted upon by the pride; lions listened to her every word, eager to see the promise she would hold. Unfortunately, this excessive praise led to Aegnor becoming extremely sheltered and naive; she is used to being praised wherever she goes, and as an older sister, she has her head in the clouds too much.
