I have been chosen as one of Queen Dikeledi’s three advisors. I’m quite ecstatic, yet something isnt right. Ever since Dikeledi had been chosen as queen, crows have been swarming our pride. The queen calls them our ancestors. I don’t quite believe that. One crow in particular she calls Pheonix, like our previous king. This “Pheonix” has been commanding the flock, like a pride leader directing a hunt. The most brutal and violent things that have happened, is when the Queen exiles a lioness, or when she chases off a adolescent or cub, she gives the crows permission to slaughter them. I’m not saying im the most sensitive lion ever, I’m just concerned, questioning my leaders reign.
