Sababu is the firstborn child of King Falling Spark and Queen Faline! He is the first cub in their first litter, and has a younger twin sister, Alia. Sababu means ‘purpose’.
Sababu is not the heir to the pride, but he is second in line for the throne after his cousin Kanu, and holds the title of Prince. Sababu was a ferocious student, taking every lesson to heart and learning combat and strategy at a relentless pace. He is determined to lead the Royal Guard as an adult, and help defend his family’s kingdom. And, at the rate he’s going, he will probably get his wish. He is a strong young lion, in body, mind and heart.
Sababu is also an introvert. He is a hard worker, and always polite and ready to help anyone who asks, but needs his alone time to recharge. Very few other lions have seen Sababu at rest, without his ‘Ferocious Guard Face’, as his sister likes to call it, on. Around his close family and treasured friends, Sababu is reserved, gentle, and often prefers listening to talking.
Sababu and his older cousin Kanu become close friends as adults. They often patrol or spar together, and Kanu feels much better about being king someday with Sababu around to watch his back. They’ll defend the kingdom together, as family should.

Grandpaw ✨ Rego ✨ is playing the bad guy, and when Sababu manages to get their teeth and claws snagged in Grandpaw ✨ Rego ✨'s mane, the old lion "dies" very dramatically, flopping onto his grandcub, who squeals in delight and declares that they are the king now. 2x
