You step into a harshly wooded, somewhat foggy, cold forest, seeking shelter from the seemingly everlasting cold. After walking through the woods for a while, watching your back, it feels like.. something, no, someone, is .. watching you. You suddenly trip over a root of a tree that had surfaced, and fall forwards. When you open your eyes, you find you've landed in a stone-floored clearing, with a large tree that has been semi-uprooted, making a cave entrance. You walk over to it, feeling the warmth radiating from the cave. . . . "Hello..?" A female voice speaks from behind you, startling you. "I apologize for scaring you... Oh dear, you look so cold! Please, come in." She leads you into the cave, where a large, scarily decorated primal king greets you. The lioness bows, so you bow as well. "Kratos, this poor soul has been left out to the cold. Can they stay here, even if only for a little while?"... A low growl filled the cave, followed by a grunt of pain as the large lion stood and walked closer.
"Rise." He said menacingly. "Feel free to stay here, as long as you'd like. We've food stocked for the coming winter if needed." He responded, looking at the newcomer with a curious expression, though you couldn't see it behind his panther mask. You notice an arrow sticking out of the large male's shoulder, you look at it with a confused thought. Before you could ask, the lioness speaks. "Oh thank you! Thank you, great king!" The lioness thanked him, sounding ecstatic. "Oh, it's been so long since I've been able to show a newcomer around!! Come, Come! Allow me to show you to our cave." The lioness trails off as you walk behind her, but you turn around for just a moment, to look at the lion as he steps out of the cave. What was that? Was that.. a dog..? Eh, probably the fog messing with you!
