˗ˏˋ⋆ About Charlie ⋆ˎˊ˗

I’m Charlie, a 25-year-old chill lil guy. Currently, I’m a full-time probationary firefighter, photographer, videographer, editor, and (to my dismay) graphic designer. I run three websites, and I'm most importantly a cat dad to the beautiful gorgeous show stopping Ramona.

In May 2025, I won an American Marketing Association Crystal Award for some community efforts to bring corporate and field employees together and assist in breaking down discriminatory barriers between white and blue collar workers. I've filmed, edited and produced a short form interview & documentary series to promote this effort, too!

I’m also passionate about volunteering and spend a lot of time helping out with local and global fundraisers, food banks, community relations, animal shelters, and so on. Similarly, I fundraise, coordinate events, and run the social media for the Fire Department I'm a part of. also don't know how I have enough time for it all! I'm dying a little bit but it's so worth it.


˗ˏˋ⋆ Recent Volunteer Work ⋆ˎˊ˗

In April, I was able to coordinate a $3000 donation and clothing drive for Dress for Success and Career Gear, who assist out-of-work, struggling individuals with clothing so they can reenter the workforce with greater confidence and support.

Most recently, in early May, I helped build garden beds with the ToolBank, working with around 30 individuals I recruited to take part in the event. These garden beds will be donated to establish local community gardens and further nutritious education in struggling neighborhoods in Houston, TX.

In June, I'll be working with Kids Meals to pack roughly 2000 free healthy lunch bags for disadvantaged preschool-aged children struggling with food insecurity. 1 out of every 4 of these young kids (over 100,000 total…) struggle with food insecurity, so this is extremely important to me.
