You look around at the dark and suspiciously quiet surroundings. A river flows gently beside you, and the moon hangs high above the savannah grasslands. Your heightened senses pick up on a rather musky scent, and you peer between two bushes. You are greeted by a scruffy-looking male watching you closely.
He emerges from his cover and walks towards you, his head held high. He chuffs at you in greeting, signaling to you that he means no harm nor aggression. He lets you know that you have entered his territory, although he is not pushing you away. You are more than welcome to stay for a while and rest if needed. That is, as long as you steer clear of the cubs.
