Pride Lore.

Deep beneath the surface of the Earth, hidden from the prying eyes of humans, a majestic lion pride lived in a network of ancient underground caverns. The pride had made this vast labyrinth their home for generations, passing down the secret of their existence from one leader to the next. Despite the challenges they faced, the pride found moments of joy and camaraderie in their underground home. They would gather around the glowing embers of a fire, basking in the warmth and sharing tales of their ancestors and the legends of old. The bonds between the lions grew strong, and they faced each day with unity and determination.

Pride Rankings.

King: The king of the lion pride, often referred to as the dominant male, plays a vital role in the pride's social structure and survival. He is responsible for defending the pride's territory from rival males and predators, ensuring the safety of the lionesses and cubs. He sends out hunts, meetings, patrols, and usch more. The king's dominance and strength are essential for maintaining order within the pride and establishing his position.

Queen: The queen of a lion pride, also known as the matriarch or dominant female, plays a crucial and multifaceted role in the dynamics of the pride. She is responsible for nurturing, protecting, and guiding the pride members, including the lionesses and cubs, towards survival and success. The queen lioness often leads the huntresses in hunting expeditions, using her speed, agility, and cunning to secure food for the group.

Heir: The heir of the lion pride plays a significant role in the pride's hierarchy and dynamics. As the offspring of the reigning king and queen, the heir represents the future of the pride and is being groomed for leadership from a young age. The heir's responsibilities include learning essential survival skills such as hunting, defending the pride's territory, and socializing with other pride members. Through play and observation, the young heir gains valuable experience and knowledge that will prepare them for their future role as a leader of the pride.

Herbalists: In a lion pride, the role of a herbalist is often taken on by the lionesses, particularly the older and more experienced members of the group.
