Tis pleasing to see others drift on by my den, and I wish you the nicest of days. I am PST, and generally fall asleep around 2am, so apologies if I was active messaging you then go kaput. I adore anime, dragons, and video games. I often am on FFXIV if I'm not hanging here. THE PRIDE The Dragon's Pride was not formed instantenously. A massive, heavy form of a Primal male is seen on the horizon by a small group of young lionesses. They eye his muscled figure as he slowly approached, cautious crowding together. Day and night he would leave and return with a carcass, or gifts, slowly luring the lionesses closer and closer, until they would come to accept him as their King. This rougish Primal, named Andrei, was a righteous yet cruel King. He was soft and adoring to the females he kept close, but the other lionesses in the pride were subject to his temper, and the loss of their cubs to his fangs and claws. They lived in wary fear of him, subjected to the outskirts of the territory together, but not daring to leave, knowing they had no where else to go, or that Andrei would hunt them down and kill them too. Becoming one of his favored ensured your survivability in his pride; the only way to be assured you would not be cast aside, or your cubs torn apart. ---- After Andrei's passing, a new King arose. Andrei the 2nd, a Heir selected by Andrei himself. This young King was greeted with relieved breaths, for he was far kinder than his predesscor. Though Andrei was kind to his mates, he was vicious to all else, and drove half of his pride mad with fear. Andrei the 2nd, however, eased that fear, and brought harmony back to the lionesses. A benevolent and wise king, he leads protectively and defensively; his pride is always first before him, and his anger would never be directed to them - always to his enemies instead, and those that threatened the sanctity of his pride. Except for one thing... this "Warrior of Light", affectionate and just as he was, had a single rule when he took over. Lionesses and cubs deemed 'dirty' were to be banished. But he did not kill them, like his predesscor would have; he merely sent them away, or brought them to new prides to live out their days. But friends were separated, and cubs were lost.
