Nix's Den

A vast and treacherous expanse where the land itself seems alive—watching, waiting. Thick fog clings to the ground like a second skin, curling around gnarled roots and stagnant pools. The air is heavy with the scent of damp earth, decay, and something older… something primal.

Twisted trees rise like skeletal fingers from the murk, their bark blackened and slick with moss. Waterlogged paths wind through the mire, shifting underfoot with each step, as if the marsh resents intruders. Frogs croak warnings into the silence, and insects buzz like whispers in the dark. It’s a place where predators thrive—and not all of them walk on four legs.

The heart of the territory lies on a raised stretch of solid ground surrounded by mist-covered waters. This is where Nix and Talli have made their den—a massive, hollowed-out stone structure half-consumed by tangled vines and creeping fungi. A narrow creek cuts through it, fed by the marsh’s lifeblood, and the scent of past kills clings to the air.

Bones litter the outskirts of their claim—scattered remains of prey and the unlucky, bleached and broken. It’s a warning to those who wander too close.

This land is not beautiful. It’s not kind.
It’s wild.
It’s cruel.
And it belongs to them.
