Pride of Atara

Long ago Atara was a land of waste and pollution caused by the great war of Asai. Before that war, there lived three mighty dragons, Alucard the Hidden, Verma the Warrior, and Shaia the Shapeshifter. The dragons cared for and nurtured the land making sure it thrived. The work became too much for the dragons so they created lindwurms which helped the dragons take care of the land as it was far too vast. In the dark one of the lindwurms believed that it wasn't fair that they were created just to help the dragons. The lindwurm’s name was Asai.
For many months he gathered others who believed him until they had enough to go up against the innocent dragons. They fought for years until the last dragon, Shaia was able to slay the defiant lindwurm but still she was not welcome in the land of Atara so she dove into the water portal into an unknown land as dry as the scales on her back. Shaia took the form of the first animal she saw, a lion.
Shaia was beautiful with fur so dark she appeared as a silhouette. For many years Shaia was sought out by many males but Shaia knew she was only there to regain her strength and avenge her brother and sister. That was until she met a very odd lion who had yet to steal her heart: Nightshade. Nightshade was a large stocky male that took much interest in Shaia but never showed it. Nightshade would always appear where Shaia was, his eyes would watch her with such love even though they had never spoken a word to one another.
Shaia fell in love with Nightshade and had a cub she named Shae. This cub was no ordinary cub. He had the strength of Verma, the strategics of Alucard, and the powers of his mother Shaia. Unfortunately the power of this cub was too much for Shaia and sadly she passed away during birth leaving him and Nightshade with the burden of taking back Atara. When Shae was grown him and his father were called by the mighty dragons and were asked to take back Atara. Shae went through heavy training and finally after 6,000 years another lion went through the water portal, but only to find a land gone to waste. Without the dragons the land was unable to thrive; the lindwurms had turned into sickly wretched creatures that followed one; the son of Asai, Lucan.
Shae took on his dragon form and fought the lindwurms for many years as the dragons did long ago. This time Shae was able to liberate the land from lindwurms once and for all. Shae chose to use his power to to rejuvenate the land but not before leaving behind his offspring, Saer, Alucard, and Vermax, three beautiful sons, who went on to create three prides of Atara; The Hidden pride of Mt Alu, The Warrior pride of the Erma Grasslands, and the Shifting pride of Shade Forest.
