~~Pride Lore~~

Mane
This pride is ruled by a mane, trained to be his best by the current mane.
Once old enough, the heir is to kill off their current mane, and create a new generation.

Broodmothers
Lionesses who have reached older than 12 years of age, and are ready to hunker down and take care of cubs that wouldn't take a toll on their physical health too much.
In rare cases, too many cubs are born, in which a younger lioness without cubs would help out.

Executioner
The executioner is a submale, tested for their place in the pride for a long while. This submale CANNOT take the mane's place, and may not speak of his training, nor deeds he must do to get any traitors out of the pride.
Though they mostly take traitors, there are some sadder cases in which an executioner must take a cub's life. The pride will treat the cub greatly, and hold a ceremony once they are swiftly killed in their sleep.
In this period of time, the mother is to be taken extra care of as well, to be sure she won't leave the pride or pass from grief.

Advisor
A submale chosen by the mane to advise him on his ways, chosen through the mane's own judgment.

Guardian
The closest thing to an executioner that a lioness could, a guardian to the pride's lionesses. They make sure all lionesses stay safe, often taking night duty, and getting intel for executioners.
