The Three Eyed Raven and The Swift-Flying Buzzard crisscross amongst the clouds, their wings beating. Both magnificent birds dive through the sky and sweep across the tips of trees, making themselves known in the vast forest beneath them. The Buzzard dives down through the undergrowth, searching for its prey, always enjoying a challenge. The Raven flies from branch to branch keeping a close eye on the world beneath, beyond, and around it.

COLONY CLASSIFICATIONS
Ground Hunters
These lions prefer a more forward approach when tackling the hunt. Rather than using stealth or speed to take down their prey, strength is the main brunt of their strategies. Skilled in fighting and hunting in tight spaces, as well as carrying a more proud and solid stance, Ground Hunters are a force to be reckoned with.
Shadow Lurkers
Known for their excellent battle tactics, cruel, cunning, and ambitious point of view, and their questionable morals, these lions will always carry a fearsome reputation. Although most see them as a nightmare to behold, Shadow Lurkers will always be the ones to go to when in need of answers, as they're also well-known for their intelligence and logical thinking.
Storm Runners
Mysterious and strange, two of the only confirmed facts known about these lions, other than their tendency to prefer wide open spaces like fields and moors. These lions are rarely seen. Any other information about them can only be guessed upon. It is assumed that they are smaller, wiry, and built more for speed rather than strength, therefore hunting smaller and quicker prey, due to their preferred habitat, and the other animals that they share the space with. Many other claims about these lions have been made, and quickly shot down, mainly due to lack of evidence.
Lotus Eaters
Whilst their moral scale isn't entirely known, these lions tend to lean more towards the softer, calmer, more patient side. Though, never mistake a Lotus Eater for a fool. They may not be the smartest lions in Mirewood but they are most certainly not stupid. Lotus Eaters get their name from the way they harvest and grow lotus flowers along the rivers that flow through their corner of Mirewood. Sometimes it seems as if nature itself has a tight bond with these lions.
