Queen zarina was finally growing old. And she needed an heir. None of her own cubs that stayed in the pride wanted the position, but thankfully there were two younge male cubs who had recently joined the pride who seemed fit for the job. Queen zarina asked them both if they wanted to be their heir, and they both said yes. One of the cubs was a ennedi primal, known for their large size, long fangs, and strength his name was Korongo. The other was a piebald, his name was Rajj. Korongo was strong, and wise in the ways of war, but he had a temper on him. Rajj was of average strength, and knew some of war, but not near enough. But he was friendly, and knew how to make friends and allys. and was very wise, and a greta problem solver. Queen zarina chose Rajj to be her heir, and korongo was mad, and left the pride. Queen zarina taught Rajj everything he needed to know to be a king as he grew up. and as soon as he 2 years old, queen zarina gave him the throne. She was alive for a few more months, teaching him a few more things before she passed away from old age. King Rajj decited to move the pride to a safer location. Serpents pass only had one entrance, and would not be a good place to be attacked in. So he moved the pride to shadow peaks mountains. Most of the pride was use to the warmth of serpents pass, so they left the pride and went to allyed prides. those who stayed were very cold resistant, and had pelts that would blend in with the mountains. The pride searched for the perfect place in the mountains, and eventually found a small oasis in the tallest peak. they settled down, and have been there for a few months now. Now King Rajj searches for former ally's of the old pride to rekindle friendships, and new ally's to fordge strong relationships. He also wants to find a mate to be his queen, as he learned from queen zarina who waited too long to find a mate, and died without love or companionship.

He sang to the moon in a voice like a dream.
Not fierce, not cruel—but misunderstood,
A king not of terror, but quiet good.
The wild is harsh, and stories stray—
Fear writes legends its own way.
But climb the peaks, and you may find
A lion vast, yet deeply kind.
Rajj, the silent, the watchers' fear—
Is not what he seems when you draw near.
He is dusk and dawn, wind and stone—

Fun facts about my King and pride!!!
1. Each member of the royal family has a pet
2. King Rajj's pet is a snake, to honor the previous ruler, who was a big fan of snakes
3. Most lions in the pride have grey, black, or white fur, grey to blend in with stone, black to blend in with shadows, and white to blend in with snow
4. The pride doesn't actually live in the snow, in the heart of the mountains there is a warm oasis (not too warm because they like the cold) Take a look at the pride map to see more!! (see further down the den page)
5. King Rajj may look mean, but he is actually a gentle and wise soul, he even enjoys singing!!!
6. Every new moon the pride celebrates and throws a huge party, visitors friends and ally's are always welcome. They feast, play games, then at midnight everyone gathers around to sing, then before everyone leaves, King Rajj rings a special parting song!
7. The only lions in the pride who are not grey black and white, are visitors, and the Seers. The Seers must have some blue in their fur, why? nobody knows
8. Hunters also act a snow scouts, they take turns patroling the mountains for lions or animals trapped or lost in the snow
9. Most Kings only handle political matters, but King Rajj is a big family man, he makes sure to spend time with his family and pride every day
10. All of my other prides have had different themes and homes, but they all stem from the same original pride, this pride has seen a lot of change, good and bad, but after King Rajj, I actually plan of keeping the pride in the mountains, and one of Rajj's sons will be the next ruler
