Every single lion has a short bio - that's right, all of them! Each one is a brief description of names and personalities, and many expand on the lore of the pride.

You Wander Into An Unknown Territory...

The thick heat of the Savannah creates ripples on the air in front of your eyes and flies buzz around your ears as you make your way through the tall grasses. You spot a couple of lionesses on a distant ridge, watching your progress warily.

As you approach, ears low, you do your best to show the patrolling lionesses that you mean no harm. After a few tense moments of consideration, you are politely invited to join the pride in a meal under the shade of a large acacia tree. Under the cool relief of the expansive branches, a group of cubs scamper into your path and immediately batter you with questions. Where are you from? Where's your pride? How many beetles have you got? Did you bring more food?

Soon, a tired looking old broodmother drives the cubs back to their meal, shooting you a patient, apologetic smile. You almost smile back, but the razor-like glare of The King freezes you in your tracks.

He looks you up and down, sniffs the air and tastes your scent, while one of the patrolling lionesses who invited you murmurs into his ear. Eventually, he gives you a small nod and returns to his half-eaten carcass, giving you permission to mingle with his pride.

But you don't miss the warning in his keen eyes. Keep your paws where he can see 'em.

Brief Pride Dynasty Timeline

11/12/19 - King Kamau finally steps down, allowing King Alhaji and Queen Maji to take the throne.
10/16/19 - Queen Kivuli passes away. King Kamau soldiers on, training his heir.
4/17/19 - King Amadi retires, and King Kamau takes his place, along with Queen Kivuli.
4/11/19 - Queen Mwitu passes ahead of her mate, leaving a gap in the pride's power structure. Kivuli has stepped up to fulfill some of the late Queen's duties.
9/26/18 - King Dumisani's reign ends, to the surprise of nobody, with a vicious battle over territory. He is succeeded by Amadi. Queen Kali reluctantly steps down and is succeeded by Mwitu.
3/19/18 - King Kagiso's reign ends violently, his throne seized by his brother Dumisani. Queen Farai is murdered and succeeded by Queen Kali.
9/4/17 - King Kito retires and passes, and is succeeded by his heir Kagiso. Queen Maua passes her title on to the new Queen Farai.
1/20/17 - King Ejiro passes away peacefully, and is succeeded by his heir Kito. Queen Nuru steps down and is succeeded by Queen Maua.
8/16/16 - An old and bitter King Mavuto passes, and is succeeded by his heir Ejiro, along with the new Queen Nuru.
8/11/16 - Queen Aisha dies of old age. The pride is, for the moment, without a Queen.
3/16/16 - King Faraji I retires and is succeeded by his heir Mavuto I, and Queen Bahati is succeeded by Queen Aisha.
10/18/15 - King Dakarai I retires and is succeeded by his heir Faraji I, and Queen Mbali is succeeded by Queen Bahati.
5/22/15 - King Zagaa retires and is succeeded by his heir Dakarai I, and Queen Jalidi is succeeded by Queen Mbali.
12/26/14 - The inexperienced Zagaa claims this area of Savannah territory as his own, and begins his reign with his mate, Jalidi.
