While skirting the quiet bank of a wide meandering river, you spot the telltale glint of eyes watching you from across the water, peering out at you from the depths of some undergrowth.

You meet their gaze.

The tense staring match is suddenly interrupted when a cub gleefully launches itself out of the same brush and almost tumbles headfirst into the swift running water, nearly scaring you out of your fur.

You're saved the trouble of jumping in after the tiny fur-ball as a lioness rockets out of her leafy cover, snags the kid by the scruff, and hauls them back up the bank.

Setting the cub down firmly between her paws, the lioness looks back at you across the water, flicks her tail, and you swear she shoots you a tiny smile.

You aren't necessarily invited in ... but you don't get a hostile vibe from this territory, either.
