Alice chuckled at the comments, tossing a shy smile over her shoulder at them before hurrying on again. Rose nudged her playfully and she shrugged dramatically yet still in jest, her eyes rolling up. Alice would never beat anyone up, due to being beaten herself. "Your just so timid Alice! You totally could have a lad too, if you were braver." Rose huffed. "I'm brave enough on field. Boys are different. They're boisterous, and pushy and often beat me up! So hence my cowardice." Alice heard someone behind her running and shrugged it off, darting into the hall. Both girls swiftly changed, jogging out already warmed up and ready to go. They lined up, settling into position. Then the bell went and Alice shot ahead, easily falling into her rhythm. It was two laps around all three fields. Alice was focused. This was her second lap, and was holding strong in first place. As she passed the crowd, she waved to Alex, her brother, Tomoya and Youhei, who seemed to be rooting for her. She then sped off, completing the circuit. "Woo!" She puffed, collapsing into a fit of giggles. Her brother was the first to embrace her, cuddling and commenting. "You earned your dinner!" Alice slowed, glancing warily. She threw a cautionary look over her shoulder to see the school bully, Mark, charge after them. "Bother." She grumbled, speeding up again, ignoring Tomoya and Youhei.
