New Markings! Today's release covers 14 new custom-only markings! (meaning you are able to obtain them in Oasis and Applicators, but not wild lionesses!) Markings: White Veil , Cream Veil (light cover oof face and upper back!) White Chin, Cream Chin (suggested by players!) White Facial 1 & 2, Cream Facial 1 & 2 (face designs!) Onyx Mantle, Dark Brown Mantle, Golden Mantle (very rough texture!) Onyx Ripple, Black Ripple, Fallow Ripple (kind of a side stripe!)  + there's 4 more markings you might have noticed. Rosette. It's kinda like baby spots that never vanished upon growing up! (Onyx, Brown, Gold, Cream) It's a VERY special marking and the way to obtain it is up to you guys to discover. We wanted to introduce something special that isn't basing just on Golden Beetles or weekly raffle. All players equally can lay their hands on it! How? Well. Obviously gotta start breeding projects yes? ;D  Please keep in mind that markings for mutations take up to 2 weeks to update Silver Beetle Raffle! In "Games" Section, we have added a new feature, daily SB raffle. All you have to do is purchase a ticket for the daily raffle, and you'll be in with a chance to be one of 3 members to win 1000SB! (the tickets are reset at 4 am Lioden time!)  Updates More player suggestion updates! :D CUBS: Cubs are now separated from Lionesses when they stop nursing - They will be shown now as pride members at 5 months old. Trades/Transfers will now recognize them as lions for sale/trade. FORUMS: - Scratch Your Claws board applies only to non-Lioden problems. Everything LD related will be closed down. Targetting is still going strong and this is last chance to keep your vent boards on LD. - Spread The Love: A new subforum was added, as per player suggestion. Maybe it's time to add some positive balance after venting? ;D AVATARS New avatar tags have been added to pick from! BUGS - Decor layering issue solved! Example on the image: decor 7 is on the top, and decor 1 is on the bottom. Remember to update the orders!  - Same goes for wardrobe decor slots. They should work properly now no matter what slot you pick! Raffle Congrats -Kiongozi- (#37683)!! You have wooed the Feline 2 Dark Brown lioness! How special she was? WELL SHE WAS A SILKY MANE MUTATION HAH! Looks like raffle lionesses come mutated sometimes too :o Next one has a Feline 3 Onyx and is up for impressing for all Dreamboats! Yes I did Xylax and it still wasn't clear to me if we can still rant about getting crappy cubs or our lionesses sucking at their hunts or if that isn't allowed either. I understand if you guys don't want the staff, art, and other players insulted/ranted about, but if we can't say ANYTHING negative then I find that too controlling. We already can't warn others about scams we've dealt with. That should be enough really. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Just a little bit of a suggestion -- I actually personally don't like the SYC board, because I don't really care for hearing about RL problems when I'm trying to relax and enjoy a game. Now, I'm not saying I think it needs to go of course -- it's just my opinion on it. But here's an idea -- maybe it's possible to hide the topics from the "Recent Activity" section kind of like how the topics in Grown-Up Lions are hidden? Or, if it's possible, give us an option to hide SYC topics from Recent Activity if we want? That way people who normally don't mind the SYC board but might be having a hard week or something don't have to see the topics being posted there? I know we can just not look, but the same could be said about anything else. Apologies if this doesn't belong here, I just wanted to add my two cents since it was being discussed here. :) EDIT: Oh! I just realized I haven't even posted on this topic, but I thought I did. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude. I really enjoyed today's updates. All of the new marking designs look absolutely lovely, and sometimes I'm pretty picky with which markings I like. I think "White Facial 1" is my favorite. It looks really cool on lionesses! The Rosette markings are also very nice. Love the Share the Love forum as well! And of course, the cub update is great. Now I no longer have to hold on to unwanted little buggers until they're a year old. Congrats Drongo on winning the special lioness! Making petty complaints a means for a warning or a ban is a little too controlling, "about Lioden" is vague. Someone complaining that a marking wasn't passed or anything in that regard isn't targeting the staff, it's a petty complaint. But I guess if people aren't happy there are financial ways to express that. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have a similar question to this as well, like..what if it's a rant about ourselves or "targetting" ourselves for something dumb we, or our lion/esses did. The whole "no LD related rants" while I see it as useful to make it so that no one gets indirectly "attacked" I don't see how some things... dunno, for example "rants" about mistakes we did, or more recently, the battle system "targets" anyone, or even getting irked at our lion/esses failure to give us nice cubs. I mean..if people have a complaint about maybe the battle sys..or any update...they should be allowed to rant about it. Yeah....praise about how great the mods/coders/etc are...is nice..but if people aren't allowed to even "rant" about something new that they don't necessarily *like*...I agree it seems a bit too controlling. It reminds me of telling someone that they look GREAT when in truth, there are flaws or little things that aren't so. I know the mods here are great and should deserve thanks and praise for what they do...but if that's all you're allowed to say, because if you "speak against" it, then it just seems..wrong. I view rants as a way of bringing something to people's attention to help make a change (like the chat box ones) instead of just pushing all those things under the carpet and pretending everything is "happy happy" :/ 0 players like this post! I see all the threads that were Lioden related in the SYC forum have been locked. Thank you! C: I've posted on one of them before because the discussion in that particular thread seemed to at least be trying to find solutions instead of just complaining. But in all, I've actually been finding all those topics wearing. @Lady BlightWyvern I disagree that this is just a way of pretending everything is fine. If people have an issue with something in the game or community, they can still offer solutions in the Game Development forum instead. That is a much more constructive way to help solve problems in my opinion because then the focus isn't just on the problem, but on how to solve it. @Xylax I just read your post about possible coloured fleck markings. That would be amazing! Thanks for the explosion of new marks you've done lately. As a fanatical breeder: I approve. A lot. XD 0 players like this post! Like? |

The point still stands, why can't we rant about dumb things *we* did? I agree that game development may be a better solution to certain problems...but then there are problems that, you can rant about here, whether updates, or anything in the game but there won't be a "solution". And in this case, the rants about LD will subtly leak into Game Development then. Starting with something like this for example, "I can't stand how much GB costs in trading, I can't afford to spend real money, etc, etc So my solution to fix this is ....." So perhaps that may be a good idea, since we can't take frustration out on the Rant Boards, we can take them out in Game Dev. and offer a solution to fix it which may or may not be there. But then again, at least they offered something. I personally don't see anything wrong with ranting about mechanics of the game or anything we do "wrong". I agree it comes off as rather controlling; people can't say anything "bad" about the community without being reprimanded....kinda sounds like the start of a dictatorship in a way. (Yes LD is somewhat of a dictatorship as is but in a good way. This rubs it in the other direction though) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Well I never owned one so I just assumed. But the point still stands. I've sold a lot of stuff accidentally, being oblivious, to the monkey that I had valued. And a lot of "rants" about the problem DO get Game Development topics made, or there are ones that were already made so the ranter contributes to adding more details as to WHY something should be fixed. "There should be another chat box because......" (yes this is one of the only topics fresh in my mind so that's why I'm using this one so much) adds more reasons/brings to light maybe more problems about ____ than what was originally thought. Game development should be used to improve things, but how can you improve something without a good amount of knowledge as to WHY it should be changed? For something to be changed, someone has to be frustrated with something. And some people can rant and get solutions if it's affecting them. Last time I checked, ranting about the price of "Custom Decor Maker" wasn't targeting/hurting anyone. And I do not see how that would ever have a solution that would actually be in effect (It's pretty cheap as it is for 10GB). Again, last time I checked, the battle system is new, and more challenging. Some people don't like challenging, but they should have a right to rant about it. As well as saying "I don't like NCL colors, they are so ugly!", who is that hurting? The mods/coders? I'm sorry but negative responses to things will always exist, so threatening to "punish" us for being negative about something in the game isn't the best course of action. And I just thought about this, but if we can't rant about LD why are we allowed to say good things about it? Yes it's nice to have praise and the such, but it just looks like a way to shut down anyone saying ANYTHING "negative" about this site. 0 players like this post!
