Legends of fur-less creatures were at one point not a legend among the wolves little did they know that the extinct species would soon return as one of them...
Three packs at one point existed Taumi, Shanik, and Letiera, the three packs lived together and helped each other grow and develop, Taumi lived in a beautiful lush-green forest filled with trees and rivers their camp a shallow valley as their camp, Snanik lived in a moutianus-plain their camp a small hill that protected them from floods and Letiera a grassy plain spotted with Acia forests, the packs showed respect for eachother as they grew and evolved soon learning was of trade and created inventions but only simple things. As the packs grew a young pup was born in Taumi there was something off about him he looked similar to a wolf by the fuzzy ears snout paws back legs and tail but oddly look like the Human of legend, the other two packs furious at the thought that the humans were coming back after legends said such wrong about them, the pup at 5 months was forced to leave and to never return so he ran, farther than the packs new existed as he grew he became strong and survived alone he met another nice female wolf who loved him and started a family of more like the first Child of Wolf.
Back at home the three packs were falling into chaos Taumi had been flooded and the forest burned, the rivers draining, the moutianus In Snanik toppled leaving hills and in Letiera the grasses dried out
The Child of wolf led his children to his home to see what happened. None of his family remained, the bodies that were found were dropped into the flooded camp in Taumi and it was to all the pups knowledge that none shall set paw beyond the dead trees that made the border to Taumi. When Child of Wolf grew old he separated the remaining land between his first litter of pups who soon two had their own pups what was once was Snanik's home went to his first daughter and her offspring, and what was once of Letiera went to his son the two siblings took their relatives and moved into their homes the huma-wolfs developed enough to become a tribe and generations passed.
When the first Child of Wolf died he left a note etched into a large stone that read:

Wayward winds, the voice that sings of a forgotten land
See it fall, child of wolf
Lend a mending hand

When I run through the deep dark forest long after this begun
Where the sun would set, trees were dead and the rivers were none
And I hope for a trace to lead me back home from this place
But there was no sound, there was only me and my disgrace

And sunk the stone into the same burial place that held his friends and family before dying there himself...
