Frightful screams sound out from the streets as a blaring siren emits into the air, people and families running in several different directions as some point skyward with fearful expressions. Following their directions, your gaze lands on the shape of a foreign missile hurtling towards your town like a bullet, the terrorized screams only being drowned out as it nears. Diving into a near by ditch, you quickly cover your ears as the missile hits the ground, the blast making dirt and gravel spray in every direction, demolishing most of the once lively town. Barely surviving the impact with your life, you try to get through the crumbling and destroyed wasteland that was once beautiful, but as the ever small food supply gets depleted, the temptation to join one of the many gangs that roamed the land even before the blast gets stronger.
Only you and a few others have survived the tragedy and it will take all that you have to survive the aftershocks together. Will you be one of the survivors or will you let death take you?

~Current Gangs~
East Side Raiders
This group was one of the smaller gangs that lived in the once big and bustling city. Before the blast it was a pretty small group that caused trouble for the cops with the occasional robbery or graffiti. Their saving grace from being totally destroyed was their doomsday paranoid leader, the man had a few loose screws but was a kind man at heart. Once the bomb hit the former Raider left the mostly stable base and the few supplies in it to the lucky idiot who had the courage to stay in the town and make a shelter.

West Side Warriors
Though their name isn't the most original, this group controls most of the west side of Shallow Creek and a bit of the woods after it. Formerly a big bad group that loved messing with the town's shipments and supplies, the original Warriors hightailed it out of town once the news of the missile reached them. Though they are not as supplied with food or shelter as the Dust Devils, they can easily start a fight for territory as they were left with a small variety of weapons. With their base settled in an abandoned high school, the Warriors have plenty of space to build, sleep and mess around as did the schools former students.

Shallow Creek City
Formerly a beautiful town with amazing architecture and people, this place has gone to the dogs once the missile hit, the stores and open parks now crumbling and torn up. Even if they are unstable and thrashed, some of the still standing buildings are a great place to take shelter whether it be from the rain or the nearest person who wants your head on a silver platter. The city divided into half by the two currently ruling gangs, Shallow Creek is a ripe battleground for new territory, more supplies, and even new members.

No Mans Land
This is certainly a place you wouldn't want to get lost in during the witching hour. Once an open park in the middle of town, the missile hit directly in this area which is now broken trees and ripped up landscapes.A few small fires still burning on the grass, debris from near by houses and building litter the torn soil. Though this place seems wrecked beyond belief with little to no use, No Man's Land can be an easy access way to the West or East side as long as you don't get caught or shot at.

Crazy Max's Trading Center
Set in the former subway station of Shallow Creek, this is a large collection of stalls and vendors. With paper currency holding no value in the destroyed government, trading goods is the only way to throw away something unneeded and get a look around. From traveling merchants to crafty crooks hoping to make a quick buck, the Trading Center is a great place to find something new to help survive the fallout.
