Participants (at the moment): Pembroke, Libette, Cora, NurkaWolf, Dragoness, Dancing Bunnies, HawkfeatherTheHottie A week ago, a strange necklace came into your life. You might have found it in a familiar place- inside a school locker, on your nightstand, or in one of your drawers. Or it may have found you in a rather strange place. Either way, this necklace has a way of following you, finding you. You could have tried to throw it away or throw it out the window of your car. But time and time again, the necklace found its way back to you. It could not be destroyed, you might have tried cutting the leather cord that kept it all together, but it only ended up in you hurting yourself. Whether you've grown to accept it or not, the necklace chose you, and it has no plans to leave you alone. You might choose to wear it. After all, it was a rather nice necklace. It had intricately carved beads and shiny pieces of agate. But the center piece of it seemed to be the most attractive of them all. The rough wood carving of an animal had some sort of alluring charm to it, even though it was the most simple asset to the pretty necklace. However. Things aren't always so simple. You go to bed one night, maybe after another failed attempt to destroy the necklace by pitching it in the swirling flames in the fireplace. You don't have any recollection of how it happened, but you woke up the next morning, not it your bed, but in a grassy clearing. Strangely, your body feels weak and you seem to have a pounding migraine. Your eyes flutter open and closed before they adjust to the blinding light of the sun above. You move to shield your eyes with your hand, but you notice a flash of something... Fur? Scales? Feathers? Were you seeing things? You stumble around, flashing in and out of an animal form before you take notice of others laying on the ground, just like you were? What is this place? Why are you changing between an animal and a human? You look down to seen the necklace resting just below your collar bone. And then, you hear a voice at the back of your mind. It sends a cool sensation throughout your body and in a raspy voice it says "The game has just begun." You were about to ask about what game the creepy voice was talking about, but the cool feeling has ceased and you assume the voice has moved on to one of the others... For now, it's going to be all wonky and random because they haven't really acclimated and they've got migraines, and creepy voice just wants to mess with them. I'd say once they adjust themselves to their new surroundings better it might be easier. And maybe the difficulty to change to an animal could be partly based on their relationship with the necklace. As in, it'd be easier to change if they kept it and more difficult if they repeatedly try to destroy it or throw it away. 0 players like this post! Like?Edited on 14/08/15 by Pembroke (#717) |
