The young black male walked beside his brown female counter part. Where her steps were light and hardly made a sound, his big paws made him sound like he was crashing through the undergrowth. When they got to the edge of Black Water territory he looked at his closest friend and licked her ear.
"As I said, it's a long way but keep to the stream it will lead you to a split where you will follow it west to the forest. There lies Shadow Pack territory. You MUST be quick to reach the camp at the heart of the forest or I fear the patrols may not be kind. When you meet Mereum make sure to avoid your eyes and treat her with the utmost respect, she may not be your alpha, but she is mine and you are representing my judgement." Miro's calming voice was instructive but he knew her well enough by the way her eyes slightly flickered from him to the plains that she worried. He always knew what she was thinking or feeling. He smiled and nudged her.
"I will be fine, I will introduce myself and see how your pack works then I will return. Remus gets very suspicious if you and I are out too late" he chuckled and pressed his muzzle to the side of her neck.
"May we meet again" her voice vibrated.
"May we meet again" he repeated and started padding away, he didn't want to tire himself but he needed to get there as quick as he could.

Half an hour later he made it to the split and followed Miro's instructions. He paused outside the treeline and took a deep breathe. One more step and he would officially be betraying his Alpha. He bowed his head and prayed to the moon that Remus would have mercy. He looked back up and pushed his way into the trees.

A sad shadow passed over Mika's blue eyes (idk if they were blue but they are now lel) at Artemis' unbudging stance. He knew there was no point in arguing with her. The normally honest wolf dipped his head in a small nod and let a weary sigh exhale from his maw. "Very well Artemis, I won't press my point further. You have my word." He made sure she could read the sincerity in his eyes when he said "You have my word. Shall any battle get to that point I shall leave your side." The white pelted male probably didn't need to tell her that if it ever came to that point and he had to choose between Artemis' safety or his word, he'd choose the former without hesitation.

Illumi | Male | Gamma | Mentions: Killua

"So long as our family stays as that: our family," Illumi said simply. If there was anything he had been raised to believe from birth it was that strength lay in the bonds of family. If one put everything they had into their loyalty towards their pack, they would be invincible. Even should he fall, his will would be carried out by the wolves that stood alongside him. And he would do the same for them. Though their blood was tainted with that of an outsider he considered Killuas pups to be included in that idea and would stop at nothing to bring them to where they belonged. And as Killua said, their mother had been chosen to give them abilities as close to that of a pure shadowborn wolf could have.
The sun cast a warm light over his midnight fur, and the black wolf raised his head to gaze at the sky. "It's about time for the next patrol brother. Shall we take it together? One last regular duty before our next mission." (So they can run into Ivailo)

Artemis smiled at her smallest brother, who - if she had anything to say about it - would never know who he really was, nor what she had done in her darker times. Artemis glanced at her other, twin brothers, hurriedly padding over to get their attention for a possible spar. Although Mika was here, she was itching to fight a little, and need to do something productive.

KIllua | Beta | SP - Illumi and Artemis, Jazz

Killua beamed at his brother, and nodded "All for the Family. Weak, half assed loyalty is a fatal vulnerability." Killua released his breath and looked up to the sky above as Illumi did the same. "Yes. I think that'd be a fine idea. We can take Jazz out for a final lesson before she heads out on her mission." Killua tilted his head, searching for the young shadow in the edges of camp, possibly grieving still. Instead of meeting eyes with Jazz, he met the eyes of his sister, Artemis looking as though that if she didnt have an omega to tear apart she'd tear them apart to make up for it. Well it wasn't that bad. She also looked pretty serene for her usual self. "Let's hurry before Arr locks on us. I'd bet Jazz is out hunting, as she hasn't heard the full details about her mission."

After a few moments of searching in the forest, he saw the young wolf stalking a rabbit from the shadows, and he beamed with pride at her endeavors. This was the kind of outsider he had no problems with. This young one had just lost her mother but was still so loyal and hard working, getting food for the pack at this hectic time.

Alecai | Gamma | SP - Shayla

Alecai gave another quiet bark to catch his mate's attention, wishing she'd lay in the receding sunlight with him and relax a moment before going back to advising the young generation. (all of them were short af but even more so Alecai's. I feel dead x-x'')

(Cora hasn't been on since December. Let's not wait for Ivailo. Let's go straight into the Jazz mission, then skip quite a few months and have Jazz be with the young 3ish month old killucifer pups) and then BAMM get right into all of this XDD Imma message inzy and say that we're going to revamp/re...start? Not quite restart but revamp the rps.)

Illumi flicked his ears in agreement to Killua's words, and silently padded alongside him as they followed Jazz into the forest. He briefly met Artemis' eyes but felt no inclination to acknowledge her or the swift river turned shadowpack recruit next to her. His mind was filled with thoughts of the future and the bloodshed that was likely to come should any detail of their plan fail. Ultimately it all rested on Jazzlyn's ability to assimilate into Duskfall and keep her cover until the pups could be brought into ShadowPack. "Let's see how developed her senses truly are," he murmured in a nearly non existent voice to Killua, his inky gaze now on the sleek shape of their trainee. He concealed his presence, melting into the shadows of a pine. Detecting that her mentors were there shouldn't be too difficult, even with her attention on the prey before her.

Shayla | F | Gamma | Mentions Alecai

At the sound of her mate drawing her attention, Shayla turned and gazed at him. At once her heart leaped into a frenzy of scattered beats at the sight of the white male. She relished the feeling like a young cub adoring their crusg. For this was Shaylas first love and she had no intention of ever letting this emotion fade from her. "Coming~" she hummed and in a few moments was stretched out alongside him, her creamy pelt just a few shades darker than his. Bathing in the sun, she let out a happy sigh. Their family and pack united, well fed, land-wide domination shining on the horizon...she was content as she could be. She only hoped that Alecai wouldnt come to miss his home pack so much that he resented being her with her now.

Raphael | Male | Gamma | Mentions Vex

Raphael approached Vex, giving him a respectful nod of the head before speaking. "Are you prepared to carry out our mission tonight, as soon as the moon has given us her cover?" he asked in a low voice. (Btw Cinder is aware of the plan. I spilled the beans XD) The males yellow eyes glowed with anticipation. "I have no doubt in your abilities, I just want to make sure Meruem is not disappointed in our efforts." It would be the most dangerous mission he had been assigned as a ShadowPack member yet and Raphael was eager to prove himself. His strengths lay not in subterfuge but his dedication would make up for it.

Her paws made no move as the young apprentice creeped forwards, the rabbit perked up slightly but she froze with the movement. Though she sensed the eyes in the darkness, her bright gaze shifted to her mentors briefly. Waiting, she was almost ontop of it, just over this tree root and she'd be on it! The cub wriggled her hind quarters and launched upwards, twisting up over the root and landed just behind the critter. It's squeal of surprise was cut off as teeth dug deep into its spinal cord and killed it. The cub picked up her kill and beamed proudly at the accomplishment!

Vex

He grinned, "Of course! I'm fully prepared to carry this out, they are probably older by now since we've had to wait so long with these complications." He said with a shrug, they'd had trouble leaving the camp due to the recent disappearence of some pups. (sh XD) The pupnapper was now dead somewhere of course, but now.. Now they were carrying out the same procedure and his teeth gleamed in the lighting.

Raphael | Gamma | Mentions Vex

"That won't be an issue. As long as the pups don't recognize us as a threat until we're clear of the camp they won't raise the alarm," Raphael said, curling his tail over his paws. "And if our scent trail works they will accuse Duskfall of the crime before turning to us. By then it will be far too late of course." He smirked. Their plan was flawless. Once again he was thankful for having been accepted into such a pack, in which nothing was going too far for the sake of power. And since this plan involved considerably less bloodshed than was usual he had no qualms about it at all. The pups would even be cared for one of the more nurturing she-wolves int he pack, Shayla. The sun was now beginning to lower in the sky. Within a few hours it would be nightfall and the plan put into motion.

Killua | Beta | Illumi & Vex

Killua felt his lips twitch in amusement when Jazz's eyes flicked sidewards to land on him and Illumi. She had learned very fast. Killua briefly imagined if this is what it felt like to raise a child into a trained soldier, the pride he felt in his apprentice/offspring. He realized with exhilaration that soon, he WOULD be able to raise his own children into competent killers. Would the pride he felt be different if the young wolves were his own blood? Shadowpack blood? Even if they were half breeds? He guessed he would find out soon.

As Jazz dealt the killing blow, Killua barked with approval "Well done, Jazzlyn. Are you prepared for nightfall? Have you received an idea as to what you are doing tonight, or are you unawares?"

Illumi | Gamma | Killua and Jazz

Illumi let Killua do the talking to young Jazz. Illumi was never much one for words. Instead, he cast his senses out and listened and smelled for any wolves who might be drawing close. Even members of their own pack were better off not knowing every detail to their plans, lest they be captured by the enemy. These days, the average shadowpack member didn't have torture training from birth. So far he could sense nothing past the chattering of squirrels and wing strokes of birds as they fluttered through branches up in the pine canopy.

Vex

He snickered, "Oh those pups have no clue whats going to hit them. Let alone the pack!" He chuckled darkly, gaze turning to look for Illumi one last time before letting his mind roll over the plan one last time. "I'm to grab a male and you a female correct?"

Jazzlyn

"Yes sir! I'm to work my way into their pack and get the pups of the alpha onto my side right? Or something like that.. What do I do after that?" She questioned, wanting every detail of the mission.

Raphael

"Correct," Raphael confirmed with a nod of his head. "From what I've heard there are two males and two females in the litter so that part shall be simple." A flicker of doubt showed in his yellow eyes and he shifted, considering whether or not to relay his doubt to his mission-partner. "I've never touched a cub before in my life however," he confessed, and even smiled at the thought. "So forgive me if I watch how you do it first!"

Illumi

"After that you try and convince them to abandon Duskfall and choose their ShadowPack heritage instead," Illumi said smoothly. "You will also be relaying inside information to one of us often. Most likely this will be Killua as Lucifer won't be suspicious of his scent among the border." He met her eyes and continued "When we go into their camp, the story is that you ran away from us after being heavily abused. You understand what that means?" His voice betrayed no sign of emotion but he was interested to see her reaction. To make their ploy convincing, Jazzlyn would have to be injured though no grievously. Just in places that bled heavily and would make the situation look a lot worse than it was.
(I think that was the plan anyway! Jazzlyn seeks refuge from the abusive ShadowPack and is chased there by her mentors. Nova takes sympathy as he was in a similar position when he was younger. That was it right? My memory is hazy )
