Al playfully nudged Niana's arm. "You know me Niana, if they're not going to be very blunt about it I'm not going to get it," he said with a laugh. "And besides, there's not much to do while traveling. What was she going to do? Shift into a tree?" A wide smile was plastered on his face, and his purple eyes had a playful glint in them. He looked over at Anero, who has started to redden. "Do you mind me asking if she can only shift into gryphons?" He asked.

Seeing as Tero didn't look like he was going to be any help, Anero shook his head in response to Al's question. What had happened to Terro? Was seeing these witches that much of a shock? "Orena can turn into any animal she has come in contact with. She likes to call it 'understanding'." Anero explained. "She 'understands' it's bio make-up and DNA for the general shape and abilities, but the appearence doesn't transfer. In almost all of her shifts, she is white and either blue or gold or both." He continued. Anero silently debated telling more, to answer one of Al's sarcastic questions from earlier. He decided to answer. "Orena doesn't like showing off her power. She finds it fascinating, yes, but she'd rather not flaunt it around. And she rather likes keeping the new people on their toes about what she is: human or special."

Tero never understood why Orena preference to keep her talent a secret. If he had a talent like that, he'd show it whenever he could. Party? Let's go as a cat. Going to the park? Guess who's turned into man's-best-friend. Steak for dinner? Nuh uh, I'm a cow right now. If Tero had Orena's power, he didn't think he would ever be in a human form. Except maybe to open doors. "If I were her," Tero started. His voice was a little raspy from not speaking for a while. He gave a short cough. "I'd always show off my skill." He cracked a smile. "But that's just me. I don't think I'd ever be a human if I could do that with my magic..." He turned to Anero. "Hey, Anero, do you think I'd make a cute dog?" His smile widened when he heard Alphonse let out a chuckle.

"Orena doesn't think her powers should be shown as if it were a prize." Anero shrugged. He felt similar about his ability. It wasn't as useful as Orena's is, though. "No," Anero responded, possibly too fast. "I don't think you would." He cracked a grin, nudging Terro with his elbow. Anero was surprised that Terro spoke that loud. He didn't think that the boy had spoken at all since they arrived, which made him think, how was his cat? She was awfully annoying the trip there, he wondered how she was now. Anero thought that he had seen a cat when he left the house, so maybe they met...? Anero looked up when he heard a small chuckle from in front of them, Niana, in response to their exchange of words. "I'm sure you would," She said, turning her head to look over her shoulder at Terro with a smile on her face before turning back in front of her. Anero wouldn't be surprised if Terro went into shock after having the witch speak to him.
