I'm curious about mutations and such, and I want to see if there's any kind of pattern between the mutated lions, items that were used, and mother's fertility! To submit data, use this form (thanks to Zeiirle for creating it!!): Remove *'s before submitting <*b> Mutated Lion[ess]<*/b> <*a href="URL HERE" > TEXT HERE<*/a> <*b>Mother<*/b> <*a href="URL HERE" > TEXT HERE<*/a> <*b>Father<*/b> <*a href="URL HERE" > TEXT HERE<*/a> <*b>Mother's Fert (before items) <*/b> <*b>Item's used<*/b> If you don't know the mother's fert, or if any items were used, simply list UNKNOWN!!! You can find the data listed here! On the X axis is the mother of the muttie's fertility rate,on the Y axis is items used. If you need any help reading it, let me know!! Data at a GlanceAll numbers are based entirely on the data available on the spreadsheet. Most Common Mutation Mane Silky: 13 Lions Fertility Rates (Includes Ferts where items are used) 1% came from Infertile Mothers 45% came from Very Low Mothers 10% Came from Low Mothers 4% came from Average Mothers 2% came from Good Mothers 20% came from High Mothers 2% came from Goddess Mothers 12% come from Mothers with Unknown fertility Method Rates 55% of Muties are Born when items were used 36% of Muties are born Naturally (no items are used) 9% of Muties are Unknown  0 players like this post! Rebu: Mother 3% Fert., the father no mutation. Unghiwa: Born from a mutation lioness, but I think I used lion meat to get her. Mine weren't really that great, XD I did notice these past few days there's been a rise in ebony cubs being born. I got a few from lionesses I didn't expect. Not sure if it's more my stud or the females. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Between my two accounts, I have personally bred within my den(s) a total of 7 mutations - all bred and born 100% naturally. No GMOS, cotton root bark, or lion meat was used in the conception of any of these. (Additionally, my current king, Wicked has bred another mutation outside of my den via studding for a total of 8 mutations bred naturally) *Black Sable - Folded Ears (owned by me - on my Main Acct)*(Can't remember who the parents were and her profile no longer carries this info. I did, at some point, write in her bio that her father had bred 2 mutations and that her mother had bred 1 prior to her birth - not sure of mother's fertility, but I suspect it was very low based on the mutie's fertility number and the fact that I usually only breed VLF). *Sauvignon - Fluffy Mane (owned by me - on my Main Acct)*(Again - parentage is no longer listed in her profile, but I do know her mother (Black Cherry Blush) was VLF - but I can't honestly remember what the percentage was. I don't believe that Black Cherry Blush bred any other mutations. *Vanilla Sable - Fluffy Mane (owned by me)*Father = One of my past kings, Wicked (which one, I am not sure - there have been several all with the same name), Mother = Sahara Sunrise. This cub was the first mutation for both. Mother's fertility is suspected to be VLF, but no way of checking as mutie's profile doesn't show parentage. *White Angel - Polycaudal (owned by me)*Father = My current King, Wicked (he has fathered 4 mutations), Mother = Hazelnut Toffifay (this is her only mutated cub - however, her other daughter Cherry Macaroon has bred a mutated cub.) VLF 34% *Takulta - Overgrown Claws (bred by me and sold to another user)*Father = My Current King, Wicked (he has fathered 4 mutations), Mother = Black Widow (this is her only mutated cub) VLF 47 % *Minerva - Adult Mutation Present (owned by me)*Father = Tik'taalik, Mother = Cherry Macaroon (this is her only mutated cub) VLF 30% (but here is something interesting - Cherry Macaroon is Hazelnut Toffifay's daughter and is a half sister to White Angel (polycaudal mutation. So that makes two mutated cubs within Hazelnut Toffifay's line). *Crysta Snowlyn - Achromia (owned by me)*Father = My current king, Wicked (he has fathered 4 mutations), Mother = Pecan Sandy (this is her only mutated cub) High Fertility Mutations bred outside my den via studding to my King/s *BBBY 46% - Mane Frizzy (owned by #78126, bred via studding my King, Wicked)*Father = My current King, Wicked (he has fathered 4 mutations), Mother = Tocho (owned by #78126) VLF 42% So my conclusion looking at all this info? First off - VLF is definitely a very big plus when it comes to breeding mutations naturally. And second, I'm starting to wonder if my king, Wicked, has some kind funky mutie producing genes O.o (yeah, yeah I know that supposedly isn't possible..or is it? I'm starting to wonder) Cause I'm churning out cubs just as fast on my main account with my King, Llwellynn (using VLF ladies) and I'm not having nearly as much success over there..
